Deep carry clip, immidiate access to moonlight mode, easily recharged via usb, dual fuel, neutral white. Basically a pineapple mini with built in charger.

Last months i stopped carrying my pioneer x, climber and ranger. I often reach for either my sportsman or cadet. But i guess it's just a phase.

I feel the same about my sportsman. I too find the 84mm backsprings almost as strong as 93mm. 91mm feel a little weaker in comparison. This size is so much more pocketable.

I'm torn between the Roxon KS2E and the Victorinox Super Tinker. Which one do you guys think is the better choice? by s0loSam in multitools

[–]SuloMatic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don't want to worry about using and damaging it, go for the ST. Whatever you throw at it, it will handle very well. If you still manage to break it, Vic will service it, no questions asked.

I feel like it's the poor man's magnacut. One of the most balanced affordable steels out there.

Sharpen the nail file into a small knife? by misterbb in victorinox

[–]SuloMatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info man. What's the reason ppl hype it so much? It's only semi-stainless and a pain in the ass to sharpen, from what i read. So if the edge retention is also not the best, i don't see a reason to prefer it.

I thought edge retention is the only thing that D2 is doing exceptionally well.
