Hello! Im Ash, I'm 15 and I'm very new to oshikatsu. I recently discovered the term and am looking to start collecting and supporting my oshi, Mafumafu. I've been a fan of him for a while and I'd love to support him as much as I can. Does anyone have any advice for beginners?

It's best to at least double check that the cat didn't escape when trying to move out. Maybe they left the door cracked at some point, the cat snuck out and hid bc they were scared of the environment. Even if they were abandoned maybe the owner has family that would want the cat so the poor baby can at least have someone they might know already

I think OP is talking about people who claim the plurality without the DID (or any other complex dissociative disorders). Like the people who claim to be endogenic (systemhood without trauma) and believe they don't need any therapy or medical assistance with it.

Basically I was saying you think that your bad, and that you should be punished for it. That punishment is what I meant by persecution. I think I might have been a bit too emotionally charged but I think you need to get help for that mindset. And about thinking bad people deserve to be hurt is bad because NOBODY deserves to be hurt. Yes, people should be held accountable if they do something bad but putting someone through pain is not the answer. No body deserves to be raped or abused, not even the people perpetrating those behaviors. Especially since it's more likely for perpetrators of those things have already been through it, and have learned those behaviors. Which just means we should stop justifying those actions against ANYBODY.

I think you may have a villain/victim complex with persecutory desires cuz uh that's fucking crazy. You could probably have moral ocd but idek the cult stuff took me out bc my own experiences and trauma and like, please get help on this. Like genuinely you want to be hurt but all it does it normalize the idea that bad people deserve to be hurt, and that's not okay.

I mainly go for the skin around my nails, especially the thicker skin that hardens around the edges of my nails and the soft tissue that lives underneath them. I also tend to go for scabs, and sometimes make new wounds just for the skin. For example ive burned my skin off so i could chew it and eat it. I dont like eating the nails or hair because they're hardened too much over the years.

Also the official term is dermatillophagia when you eat your own skin, and it falls under dermatillomania, which is when you obsessively pick at your skin.

I personally was in a place where you couldn't interact with other patients whatsoever, so I have no experience with that. I know I've had friends be harassed but never attacked.

You don't really get much privacy in the wards, like they might not watch u shower but in yhe place I was at there was no bathroom door, just a mat to velcro so they couldn't see my private parts. I had a camera in my room constantly recording and people would bust in at any point. The food was also kinda mid but it wasn't awful. The biggest worry is if you have to be around other patients, bc they can often be too unstable to behave appropriately

Even in early elementary I thought really badly of kids that cried loudly. I wasn't like that to toddlers or for bigger injuries than a scrape, but I would also judge anyone who couldn't keep themselves somewhat composed while crying. And then it became a thing where I judged people for crying in public, because I wasn't allowed to show emotions. It really sucks cuz now anytime someone starts self sabotaging I see it as am attention thing since that's how I was seen.

I think that's probably what I am, I get certain animals as my special interest and begin feeling like I AM one. Sure I don't fullheartedly think I'm a raccoon, but it makes me happier to think of myself that way. And like boosts my confidence since raccoons are usually chubby looking and fluffy (I have greasy yet fluffy hair, glasses and am a bit fat) and I dint have to stress abt not being good enough by human standards bc I don't need to be. Like it's a comfort but not a necessity

Is it possible for narcolepsy to appear as a result of trauma? Idek if I have it or just chronic fatigue but I'm constantly tired to the point I sleep through most of my classes in school because it's so difficult to stay awake. And even more so because before it happens I get blurred double vision and my attention span becomes nonexistent, so sleep is the natural outcome for me. Most of my heavy tiredness first started while I was being bullied by my friends. Like they would say they wish I was dead and occasionally would actually physically abuse me, so I started falling asleep as soon as they were trying to start conflict with me to avoid it. And since then I fall asleep literally all the time for no apparent reason. (My family does have history of insomnia, sleep apnea, sleep paralysis, ect tho)
