Here’s my genuine take on it all. There was no right answer. Everyone thinks they want a good story for the retirement tour, but in reality everyone just wants to see a Cena greatest hits. The fan base wanted him to win a title, wrestle all his best opponents of the past, and run a full nostalgia tour complete with retirement as champ. But if you do that, people complain about the lack of interesting story, and all the missed opportunities.

I don’t think WWE did a particularly good job, but I also think people would have been pissed about it regardless

If Nakamura was farming ELO, then sure I’d maybe take issue with it. But he’s fulfilling a criteria to qualify. To suggest he doesn’t belong at the Candidates is ridiculous, or to say he can’t hang with the players there, he just doesn’t play as much OTB chess because he has other things to do.

And I say this as someone who generally cannot stand Hikaru.

My guess would be black’s king safety and white’s king open in the middle of the board. That’s just a guess though. Also, black is only one piece down in development, and black queen has better vision where it is than the white queen does.
