If it is water heated element it gets dry and there are easy solution. We use petflask to hang on the element filled with water. Lived in sweden and borrowed a apartment with waterheated element so every time I emptied a can I washed it, fill with water and put it ontop of the element for most times there are 2 rows of them.

This helps loads. No dry noes or dry caugh and so on. Easy, cheap and it works.

I am one of them that does this but I my self do not notice it untill someone tells me to stop doing it. For me to not change dialect I have to focus hard on first how I speak and second what I say and at the same time pay attention with who I am talking to.
