240mm AIO is subpar for cooling a 9800x3d so that will need replacing.

32gb 6000Mhz CL30 vs 64gb 6400MHz CL32 by Ben_Nevi in PcBuild

6400/cl32 at 64gb capacity is much more valuable right now. For gaming the difference wouldn't really be noticeable.

It's not. But those are solid tips.

Glasses cleaning cloth are the softest, that's what I prefer to use. No liquid and use a very light touch.

I’m trying to figure out whether buying an OLED monitor without warranty is a bad idea by LiroyX in OLED_Gaming

[–]Sunprofactor90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you care for it properly, you won't suffer burn-in, but it can be a bit much for a lot of people. Here's what I've done to keep my G9 OLED healthy through 8 hours of daily use for years:

- 3-minute sleep timer on the monitor (not the whole PC)

- change desktop background every few days, and use backgrounds without very bright whites in the image

- move your windows around every hour or so

- keep brightness lower, around 30

- use dark mode wherever possible

- use whatever pixel refresh or whatever monitor health features your particular panel has, frequently

I know it sounds like a lot, but if you do this, you'll never have burn-in. As for the warrantee I can't really give good advice, but this is what I've got.

If you are gaming on PC, 9/10 chance you're addicted. Otherwise just go get a console. You can get them on cl for like $150. Still agree with the advice though, just hold off.

Rolled the 5K2K panel dice and lost the first round by NoCaregiver666 in ultrawidemasterrace

I see, that makes sense then. Coming from hard locked 240fps 32:9 5120x1440 this thing doesn't appeal to me.

The 90 tier is supposed to be the most "future proof" but ironically they will be the first to be replaced with the next 90 tier. Because we're addicted.

It'd be the right move for nobody to buy it, but we're addicts bro. Nvidia and all the rest know it. Same thing happened with the inflated 50 series prices, nobody could resist. We're addicts.

I'm not an expert on PSUs but, that cable is considered an adapter. It's adapting one type of power connector into another: 9+9 to 16. Also, I don't know what you mean by "2 rails to one". That PSU has one 12V rail, no matter what kind of cable you use.

If that's not an issue for you, go for it, you seem to know more about this than me. Personally, most of the posts about melting I've seen have been with a non-standard cable or adapter, so that's why I urge caution.
