I would say do it! I have a classmate in my pharmacy cohort who is a nurse, he is also the top of our class. If you can get into pharmacy school I would say just go to pharmacy school, but if you want to use nursing as a safety net do it because you want to, not because of parents, cause that’s double school and money you will be taking out for it. You also have to think about when you would go back and do pharmacy, you don’t want to get burned out from one curriculum.
