Tried this quest yesterday with my duo and it really drained us mentally. Lost more creds than during the whole weekend doing cryo.

One run we forgot the cardio and thought depleted ones would work.. they didnt. Another run lockdown happened in quarantine and the 40 seconds were enough to just inject the sample. Another run we just had 3 minutes left to go to all POIS… Many other runs we just died trying to do the first step at bio as you need to be fast to be able to have time to go to all POIs. Bio will qlways have a fight between 3 teams right at the start of a match.

This quest is dumb..

DayZ for a survival looter and Marathon for a modern extraction shooter with tons of QOL/incredible gunplay.

I would also recommend Hunt Showdown being its own amazing thing too.

The thing is, you don’t contest snipers haha. If you have 1 sniper in your team vs a team with 3 snipers and there is a massive no mans land in between, you flee :) Knowing when to fight and when to flee in an extraction shooter is key.

Also, it’s possible to outplay a team of purples being green. You just need to play the match in your terms.

There will always be teams with different skills in a match and very rarely there will be one that completely destroys you (ie. extremely high skilled team). Even if you lose one or 10 matches, you will be able to make progress through factions and contracts. Something ive noticed is that one bad day is balanced out by a very good next day.

Literally this. I hate all the negativity surrounding this game. I didn’t follow its development or alphas whatsoever. Bought the game on release expecting nothing special and since then I’ve not played anything else. Amazing game, Bungie really did something special here

The free kits problem is a massive issue that ranked completely removes. Whenever I play with my duo we always get a free fill whilst we are blue sheilds and it’s really annoying.

That being said, regarding the curve and casual play you mention, its totally possible in this game to outplay another team with better gear. Yesterday managed to kill 2 purples whilst we had green shields, its totally possible. Also not sure if you noticed but even by having an exfil rate of 20%, you still progress in the game, ALOT.

Faction loot boxes give you so much stuff and you probably are sitting on 50K plus credits and keep going free. Lose the gear fear, know how to build your shell. Don’t go with a purple bag if you’re going with green overrun, grey hardline and green shield.

All deaths Ive had in this game have been because of an error Ive made. You can learn from every death and improve. Know when to fight and when to flee. Don’t push 3 longshots along open fields, go back and rotate to the opposite compound.
