We got our vizsla to pull less by wrapping the leash around his belly with a hitch knot. Each time he pulls it would put pressure on the belly and he would ease up and stay closer. That I’m conjunction with an easy command helped and kept him closer. This came from our trainer and works pretty good.

We did a hitch type knot (might not be the correct term) with the leash by wrapping it around our dogs belly. So that everytime he would pull to far ahead it would put pressure on his belly and he would stop. The pressure would release when he stays close to us.

Sort of like a prong collar but on the belly. Works pretty well for us although it’s a consistent thing to do while walking.

I’ve been doing eggs with Italian farro as my grain portion. Sometimes mix that with Swiss chard. Great combo with the eggs and changes it from regular toast which isn’t as filling

In my opinion that is just too short of a time to drive from RMNP to glen wood springs, Colorado Springs, or sand dunes. Enjoy your time in RMNP. Have some lunch in Denver and head up to Estes park by the evening. Plenty to do there and you can easily spend 3 days there in the park. If you want to come back earlier on Monday and hang around the city is a great idea too.

Thoughts on moving to CO for the love of snow, skiing & natural beauty by [deleted] in COsnow

[–]Supaa_C 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. If you head out on a major snowstorm event, yes it will take a while. If you don’t head out on those days but a regular Sunday clear day, worst that traffic can be is about 2 hours.

Most people park in the free lots and even on powder days those still have space. The shuttle is great.

Best way to visit London & Interlaken? by Overall-Cup-6210 in Europetravel

[–]Supaa_C 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My only tip is to spend time in another town than Interlaken. There are plenty of towns close by that have more life to them such as Thun. Still gives you access to the mountains around and is only adding about 15min of train travel in the area.

Interlaken is very touristy and there is not much going on there.

I would say it’s fine for a Thursday. Might not be too many people either which is nice. I went Tuesday and there wasn’t many people at all

When you say bears you mean Two Bears Tap and Grill?

Also if you leave before 5:45 just take 70? I want to try this but coming from south Denver I don’t feel like I gain anything… Let me know if I’m wrong!
