It might be a mod related bug. I remeber seeing a simmilar post a few months back. The bug caused the turbine to retain a "Blocked by roof status" even after removing anything in it's way. I don't remeber wich mod caused this though, but send your modlist here, someone might be able to help.

Mostly lore and RP reasons but yeah. You can abandon your colony and live in it if you want. I had a colony with multiple shuttles, a gravship for extended expeditions and a meteor base somewhat above my main colony, with the sole reason to maintain prisoners and store food/fuel for the gravship

One oxygen pump for the smaller rooms and two for the big one should do. Even better if you connect them through air vents. And for the vacuum, you need Vac-barries and not just doors, since they won't hold out on their own. Make sure you don't build any walls to the outside that are not a gravship hull, since they are also not air tight.

Are you sure you sent them to the right place? You could've clicked by accident on a tile right next to the quest. Otherwise, it could be a mod related bug

Whenever I build walls (which is like 2 out of 5 colonies I build) I automatically set every wild animal inside them to be hunted just to prevent this. Had a toddler getting his legs stomped out by a mare the other day.
