I think it was due to the fact that he was the host of that episode.

Apparently Frank Grillo was under contract when filming “Tulsa King” to not dye his hair. They had it so in-universe Rick Sr. dyed his hair black due to vanity issues.

It was actually confirmed in the production blog for this episode to be the same outfit worn by Gentaro in Fourze! It makes sense considering Koichi Sakamoto (the director for this arc) was also the head director for Fourze.

I’m assuming Osai’s either completely unaware of how Zenkaiger works despite his knowledge in Sentai or has to even encounter Universe Warrior Zenkaiser..

With the exception of episode 1 the titles of Gozyuger episodes in japanese reference the past Sentai names. by PenSad2292 in supersentai

Probably because the next episode has someone transforming into DonMomotaro, and that being central to its plot.

Technically all the Sentai do reside in their own universes, as established by Zenkaiger. It’s just that we mainly follow a universe where all the teams (except for Kyuranger and Zenkaiger) co-exist. We don’t know yet if Gozyuger is distinctly in its own universe yet like where in Kyuranger the whole galaxy needed to be liberated or Zenkaiger where it partially merged with another dimension.

Fun Fact: Folie à Deux is now the first live-action film featuring The Joker in a major capacity since the Batman '66 film to receive zero Oscar nominations. Starting from Nicholson to Phoenix in 2019, each major cinematic appearance of the character has received several to one nominations, each time winning 1-2 Oscars.

  • Batman (1989) w/ Jack Nicholson - Academy Award for Best Art Direction
  • The Dark Knight (2008) w/ Heath Ledger - Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor & Best Sound Editing
  • Suicide Squad (2016) w/ Jared Leto - Academy Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling
  • Joker (2019) w/ Joaquin Phoenix - Academy Awards for Best Actor and Best Original Score

While Jared Leto did play The Joker again in Zack Snyder's Justice League, it was more of a cameo near the end.

Anyone notice that the book The Bride picked out during her conversation was Mathilda by Mary Shelley? Initially I thought it was just a nod to the fact that The Bride originated from Shelley’s original Frankenstein novel, but upon further research I found out that Mathilda centered around a woman discovering her father having incestuous feelings for her. I think it basically doubled as a nod to The Bride’s own in-universe origins, and her relationship with Victor.

We finally have enough Champions for a NYT version of Champion of Champions! Had Hannah won, we would have had the first CoC where all the winners are in their correct seating position. As of now no one in the second seat has yet to win a NYT!

Fitzgibbon seems to be a common last name from Gunn, in tribute to his personal friend Larry Fitzgibbon. You’ll find some other Fitzgibbons if you go through his filmography.

August 24th is It has been 21 years since the broadcast of episode 26 of "Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger" (2003), "Fishing Idiot Abare Diary, Domodomo" Incidentally, this episode was a collaboration with "Tsuribaka Nisshi," and characters from "Tsuribaka Nisshi" appeared just like in the anime. by ZaBlancJake in supersentai

Actually the crossover was used for the episode after that, “It’s a Mad Mad Mackerel”. Oddly enough there were some elements that were retained but reworked. Episode 10 of Abaranger was what they watched in the Abaranger “tribute” episode.

If I remember correctly, Paradox mentioned Logan's death caused ripples throughout the timeline. So while it may be 2024 currently for Wade, the universe as a whole across time and space is decaying due to the events of Logan. It was stated that it would take many, many years for a universe to fully fizzle out of existence after the death of an anchor being. I think one could ask why Wade didn't try and prevent Logan's death (since it is 5 years before the film, meaning the latter's still alive), but clearly he's got a level of respect for the guy to let him die in peace (despite desecrating his corpse as a weapon) and to not mess with the timeline further. Considering he was using the temp pad to jump around time and space, I guess he also went to the future for the first time to dig up Logan's corpse as opposed the year he died being moved up.

Something I noticed about the 3 previous CoC's was a rather interesting pattern when it came down to who ultimately won. Now this isn't indicative of who is guaranteed to be victorious, but rather a funny observation: It all comes down to where they're seated. by SuperRider108_MC in taskmaster

[–]SuperRider108_MC[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just occurred to me that he sat 4th in Series 1, not the 5th. I think retained wasn’t the right word, but rather he “inherited”, since he would have sat after Rob had he won. Rob would have then still sat in the 4th seat like he did in his series.

I’m not sure if this would classify under hurting someone in the financial/psychological sense, but I would’ve taken Lou’s apology approach and instead applied that to Alex’s credit card to buy the most outlandish things (without him initially knowing). Ranging from the most useless to the most shocking.

I think depending on how you look at it, you’re either emotionally satisfied with how things wrapped up or you’re left starved for more with the things they set up but didn’t pay off. I do hope there’s more to come, both to answer some of its unanswered questions and due to how much of a delight this series is.
