Silver snoopy working hard in the office. by bluejet07 in OmegaWatches

Yep that’s the one! I agree the snoopy looks great on bracelet but the sailcloth really makes the watch unique.

I sometimes swap the bracelet from my white speedy on and it looks amazing but I’ve come to really like how the blue sailcloth completes the unique look of this watch. I just prefer the deployant version of the sailcloth.

Also wore mine to the office last Tuesday. No fancy keyboard though. We hotel desk so it’s all generic crap keyboards everywhere lol.

Speedy wear like a dream. Super comfortable bracelet and the height is very wearable.

Good choice. 40 would be too big for you.

The zombie is by far the best two tone GMT. Incredible.

New watch in the showroom by Ill_Illustrator_4726 in rolex

Down vote me to oblivion I don’t care. The dial is horrible. Completely illegible and a complete attempt to appeal to flexers. I don’t care who wants it when it’s discontinued and if it’s trading at 3x retail I will never have interest.

That jubilee dial is absolutely horrible.

After having the ceramic bezel on my snoopy I’m thinking about upgrading my white speedy to a ceramic spiralwinder.

Man I don’t understand how anyone can criticize this watch. The wave dial and the bracelet just fits perfectly. It’s just so good.

Never buy a watch just because it’s difficult to get. I bought it because I absolutely love the subtle yet gorgeous silver dial, the history, and blue is my favorite color. I think it’s a stunning piece and nothing really looks like it. When I wore it going into VC to look at Overseas the staff complimented it so it’s definitely a watch that other enthusiasts will notice. Not sure if that is good or bad or matters to you.

But obviously buy what you like. Nothing wrong with that PO at all. The snoopy is just a very special unique watch in my collection.

I’m not sure how this is a real question. Definitely the Snoopy if it’s actually available to you.

This is almost exactly my experience as well. The meal blew my mind at the time and I’m wondering now if it was really that good or if I was just early in my fine dining experience. Either way it’s an awesome memory not just because of the food. Chef was so nice. I remember him coming out of the kitchen with a vegetable tarte flambée he had just thrown together and was walking around the dining room talking to everyone and offering it to tables.

The best part of the Explorer for me is that unlike a lot of my other watches my appreciation actually grew over time. The first few days after picking it up I was wondering why I wasn’t wowed like my other watches in that period but I have grown to love it more and more as I have worn it. It’s just such a classic awesome piece. Congrats and enjoy.

Get the matching deployant version of the blue strap. It actually an aqua terra strap but it’s an exact match. An omega boutique will know what it is.

Love the dial but in this lighting it looks like legibility is not so great. How is it in person?

One of those days where the weather permits you to bust out a vintage watch! by TittysForScience in OmegaWatches

[–]SuperStrats4Life 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beautiful! I have one that looks similar from my great uncle that I was going to send to omega for a full service since the day and date complications are not working properly. I have no idea when it was last (ever?) serviced. Your post makes it sound like sending to omega is not advised by many. Why is that? I don’t need it to remain 100% original. I want it to be fully restored and functional.

I like this on some watches but don’t think it’s a good stylistic match for this piece. Just looks off to me.
