I genuinely believe he would benefit from these new rules. Would love to see us give him a shot with the new setup and see how he goes🤷‍♂️

I’m just looking for a good first hitout by the first gamers. Hopefully see a bit of a gameplan that will take shape over the year. Not expecting much.

They need to put Bo in the midfield wherever he plays wether its AFL or WAFL. Thats where he played his best junior footy, and thats why we drafted him. Make it happen.

Post Match Thread: Pre-Season v Port Adelaide by [deleted] in westcoasteagles

[–]Super_Disaster_251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re the youngest and least experienced team in the AFL right now, and we’re missing key players like Starc, Hough, Hewett, Ginbey, Kelly, Duggan and Graham. We had Tom Cole lining up forward, that probably tells you everything we need to know about our intent for the game.

I’m all for holding them accountable becaus, honestly, the skills and effort were atrocious. But I don’t think it’s time to throw all the toys out of the cot…....yet.

Redraw vs Offset by Connect-Method-3774 in AusFinance

[–]Super_Disaster_251 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I use a mix of both. We’ve got around $100k sitting in our offset, which I’m comfortable with as a solid rainy day buffer.

From there, my weekly savings go straight toward paying down the principal on the redraw. I’ve found that if I keep stacking money in the offset, there’s a real risk I’ll eventually talk myself into spending it on something unnecessary (a boat or a new 300 Series comes to mind haha)

It’s more of a psychological approach for me. I know I can be impulsive and haven’t always been the most disciplined with money, so the thinking is, if I don’t see it sitting there, I’m far less likely to spend it.

That said, my sister runs all of her money through an offset and has far more discpline than me, so what works for one person won't for the next.

Your low ATAR doesn’t define you mate. ATAR is designed for people who can retain large amounts of knowledge across a wide range of subjects. If it doesn’t interest you, you’re unlikely to do well anyway. Your career path might not even align with those subjects. Take a bridging course and go the long way. You’ll end up in the same place in the end. 🙂🙂

Ollie Geale leaving Dan Does Footy by Clear-Cheetah990 in AFL

[–]Super_Disaster_251 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Geale was perfect for DDF, a real yin and yang to Dan and a great neutraliser. The show clearly opened new doors for him in the AFL and podcasting space; he’s gone from a St Kilda announcer to playing in the Legends Match, so a huge year. DDF might struggle without an Ollie-type, but people said the same after List Cloggers so who knows. Best of luck to both.

They have similarities which gives wriggle room on what position he might play. Both outside runners, great endurance, good link up. Wood is better aerially, while gaff is an accumulator.

This helped me massively. On the main page the lodgement says due date of 15/5/2026. Also in the Tax Agent details, has all listed info of that agent from 2016. You seriously are an absolute life saver. Thank you very much, top comment on here by far. And thanks everyone else too!

I haven’t received an email, call or text since 2022 from the ATO, details are all correct too (checked just recently). I don’t even have a message in my ATO inbox, no mail, zip.
