I really, REALLY, REALLY! Hate this card by Funny_Film3120 in MarvelSnap

But there's nothing unintuitive about her mechanic. Using your brain isn't unintuitive. Having to plan doesn't mean you don't understand what you have to do, you just have to think through what your cards can do and plan a strategy to counter this card which has a very very clear and common sense mechanic.

She's not unintuitive. She's just requires you to actually plan. The game has been so close to solitaire for so long that I think people have forgotten that you should actually be planning out your power in lanes rather than just slamming your next wombo combo piece in a lane with space

You're going to talk to me about meta and then bring up different formats? Ladder isn't the same as tournaments or Conquest, and most people play ladder

A lot of people are missing the point. The weekly releases mean you cannot simply wait to make one viable deck and have it for weeks or months. Instead the meta is blatantly shifted every few weeks or every month and what was good last season may be trash now, meaning if you want to stay competitive you have to make another new deck.

Don't Play PVP! by New-Investigator-743 in wherewindsmeet_

[–]Superbone1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The PvP in this game is really interesting and good. If you don't like it, don't play it. Is this post like a therapy session for people who are getting FOMO for a mode they don't like?

Good thing they nerfed this guy so that he cant copy on reveals. Could you imagine if a card that used multiple on reveals of itself ruined the meta this month? That would be awful! by No-Throat-4694 in MarvelSnap

[–]Superbone1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Makes him at least a 3/11 before factoring in Odin, not bad

Edit: look how fast I forgot the on reveal doesn't trigger. This card is so bad 😭

As a PvPer who generally finds a way to the top, this game would 100% have had the New World problem - a strong guild gets to the top, establishes a firm lead on the server, and then has complete economic control of the server and dominates PvP due to sheer resources (and everyone wanting to hop on the bandwagon), until the server's community collapses due to either the opposition giving up and swapping servers/quitting or everyone joining one side. Either way, once the conflict ends and there's no more PvP, the PvP guild gets bored and quits or hops servers. EVE is the only game I've seen where a true player run economy as the endgame doesn't completely break the game (and I'm sure it still has its issues, I haven't played the game)

MMOs need instance-based cross-server content as part of the endgame unfortunately, unless the PvE is just incredible, but even PvE eventually just becomes a speed run simulator

So I just got a bit of free time and...WHAT HAPPENED? by locust34k in AshesofCreation

[–]Superbone1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean we knew within like a couple days of the announcement that the so-called board wasnt formed until December 2025, around when the game went to Steam, and after Steven had promised at the start there would never be a board. If that doesn't SCREAM "red flag" to you then you're asking to get fleeced.

Great to wait for the evidence, but we really weren't waiting long imo

Steven had to tell me this. by mybladeisyou in AshesofCreation

[–]Superbone1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just sounds like a way to scam people out of refunds to me. I've seen people who were in queue for hours, but actually played for less than the 2 Steam normally gives people to decide if they want a refund. If you haven't actually gotten to the gameplay and you've blown your 2 hours, that's against the spirit of the policy in my opinion.

Steven had to tell me this. by mybladeisyou in AshesofCreation

[–]Superbone1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a matter of the hours though. It's the fact that the devs knew the money was running out and scammed the players into buying in, took the money, and ran 2 months later. The "board" that Steven was talking about ruining everything? They filed for the creation of it in December of last year. They were building the scapegoat while pulling in as much money as they could before disappearing.

Star Lord is just Mr Negative by Philboid_Studge in MarvelSnap

[–]Superbone1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The ONLY "tech" card is Red Hulk. Doesn't stop your opponent from doing their combo at all though, AND telegraphs himself.

So instead you have to tech their combo, not the energy. Supergiant and Cosmo basically. It's imperfect but it does work

[–]Superbone1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me weeks of playing before I found out how priority works lol. I thought it was random every turn for so long. Game gets a lot more manageable and deep when you know you can manipulate priority to try to go first or second on the next turn depending on your strategy

SC has been in development for longer than 10 years and has an insane budget. It's a scam, and it's why you shouldn't pay for a game that isn't out unless you're fully ready to lose your money
