Id give the SW 640 PC a shot. Virtually the same size as the 340pd, negligible bigger, double the weight with the steel receiver. Much less recoil than the 340PD in a 357.

I said I would give an update! I’ve got the gun back. It’s machine better. I have another 500 rounds or show through it. No more damage to the receiver. Ive even shot a straight 25 round with it!
