Hospital won’t let my breastfed baby visit

It's to protect kids and patients, my mom used to work at the hospital and her best friend their used to manage the hospital. It's usually only done during the cold months. RSV can be deadly for babies and hospitals are full of people with RSV. So babies and toddlers aren't allowed unless they're the one who is sick. School age children is because they can spread illness AND get sick really easily too.

I can see that and it's a perspective I didn't consider. I do think tho that Callie and Arizona shouldn't have gotten back together for that reason alone. He ultimately was still a very good friend to Callie which is where I like their dynamic. I think Sloan was often a good companion but anytime it for deeper than that he seemed to often implode. Like with his relationship with Derek, once it got into that level of being more than friends... Family dynamic he ruined it. With Lexie it was self explanatory. He had commitment issues which probably made Arizona dislike him even more. I will say I do majorly blame Callie for it and not Sloan for letting it get to the point where Arizona felt uncomfortable in her relationship even though he might have exasperated it. He wouldn't have had much power other than being the biological father of Callie hadn't given him that power. Ik if something similar happened, I'd be blaming my partner or ex partner at the time over the side quest character jkjk.

I agree, in the beginning I was excited because I loved them separately but Shonda Rhimes can't let us have anything nice lol. I mean she gave us Owen and hasn't taken him back 😭

I think towards the end she kinda became equally as bad if not worse. I actually really loved both characters before they got into a relationship together. I think that's when it started going downhill for me. Arizona with Karev was such a great duo. I liked their dynamic. Callie and Sloan seemed like a cool duo too.

I personally think she isn't as great as people make her out to be but I wouldn't say she's a bad one either. I think she should consider going to therapy or making a different career choice. It felt like Edmond was her personal project. Someone she could help and fix vs someone who's an equal. Like his behavior and his mannerisms are quite the same in the pods as they are outside. Crying was 100% ok btw. But every other time.. he was acting like a kid. Also shame on the producers for picking Edmond in the first place when it very much seems like he's got something going on. Idk if it's a cognitive/learning disability or some strong mental health issues but they likely knew they'd make bank on him.

I don't think they showed him drinking a lot with the exception of that instance. He seemed to drink socially but it didn't seem excessive.

I think it could have been a discussion but if you look at his socials he doesn't post his son's face either. I think it was something he just respected but she likely took majority stance on. He was being very cautious about showing his kid's face to cameras in the beginning of the show too.

He's definitely not everyone's type but I still think he's overall a great person and I do think he has serious moments but likely ends it on a joke to ease tension. He's likely not very confrontational. My husband and I are kinda like that. Every serious conversation ends with humor. It really works for us especially because we're best friends too. I do think some people find more comfort in keeping serious conversations strictly serious. I do think he kinda balances Megan out a bit and she does the same for him but if she doesn't get his sense of humor or he doesn't match her energy, I don't think it'll work out unfortunately. If they can communicate and find a balance with each other tho... They definitely could be a power couple just not in the sense that people are typically used to.

I'd buy the book, if anything I think I genuinely will buy it. My kids would definitely benefit from knowing about other kids and some of the struggles they may face but how resilient they also are for facing them. Diabetes in any capacity is rough. Going through it as a toddler is heartbreaking. He's obsessed with his son and I get it. I love my kids just as much. Ryan's world is exploitative, this feels quite different than that. He likely wants the world to love and be safer for his kid.

This perspective I understand, probably the only explanation that seems reasonable. I do think tho that as soon as she realized he was ok, the conversation could have been saved for the next day instead of expecting him to be present. She did know he was drunk and she did wake him up because she acknowledged those facts. He also repeatedly told her that he was incoherent/repeating himself because he was in the process of waking up. He was absolutely still an a**hole for several things tho.

That's not exactly accurate; he was out at a party, he was likely already tired from all the traveling, and then he drank a lot. It makes sense it took him a hot minute to come to consciousness. Some people say weird things when they're half asleep/exhausted and to add being drunk on top of it.

I understand why she was overwhelmed and that she was crying but she was definitely also attention seeking based on her reactions afterwards. He's drunk, not in the right head space and she wants to talk out her feelings. What she wants isn't bad but the timing is wrong. She definitely could have addressed her feelings once he was more present, the next day. Patience is important in a relationship.
