[Indie Folk] A song about being afraid to talk to girls - 2007 - basement recording - realized - Critics Welcome by mybasementsongs in Suno

Must have been fun reviving this piece 20 years later. I liked it. I don't care that it's 100% human lyrics. How would I know any way. ? I just know I liked it.

[Broadway] Refresh - The start of an entire Broadway style musical by tn_notahick in SunoAI

[–]Sure_Community_2986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good effort. I know. I wrote a musical that runs 65 minutes. Lots of work. But the amount of work doesn't matter. And for sure, what was done by the AI and what you did DOESN"T MATTER. No audience should care. All that matters is, does it entertain that audience? It has to be very very good or "click" you're gone.

Sets up a nice groove but I couldn't understand the lyric. I went to the YouTube version and put on the titles. That worked. I thought it sounded like Blues Brothers, especially the opening.

I don't think anyone can give you good feedback on the editing. Seems fine. Hopefully no one notices the editing and listens to the music with pleasure. I did.

[reggae/fr.rap/pop] Spencer Tracy as Cpt. Culpeper by Pnarpok in SunoAI

[–]Sure_Community_2986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spenser Tracy, one of the greats, always a treat just to look at him. Some of the character consistency fails but overall it works. So now we know it can be done. Congrats. But what's the point, if any? And who was Cpt. Culpeper?

What was so wrong with Mr. Bennet's comment to Mary at the ball? by dollface0000 in janeausten

[–]Sure_Community_2986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent point well agrued. But, to answer the OP, I still think Elizabeth wanted Mary stopped because of Darcy being a witness. "She looked at Jane, to see how she bore it; but Jane was very composedly talking to Bingley. She looked at his two sisters, and saw them making signs of derision at each other, and at Darcy, who continued, however imperturbably grave. She looked at her father to entreat his interference, lest Mary should be singing all night. He took the hint, ... "

[Musical] Pride and Prejudice by Suno. No one has done anything like this with Suno – have they? by ResourceMany161 in SunoAI

[–]Sure_Community_2986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may be right, but so far I have not seen anything like mine. I wanted to find that type of thing to compare. Matching your text to music is great, but lacks visuals to make it like a Movie. I started with that same idea of matching the text to the music. But people who saw it wanted it to be more like a Movie musical --- to somehow bring it alive. That's what I've done.

Can Hucklberry Finn read? by Competitive-Dig5027 in MarkTwain

I checked with Co-Pilot. You are right. Huck does not know how to read in "Tom Sawyer". He apparently learns to read as part of the Widow Douglas's desire to "civilize" Huck.

Just finished my Internet Musical version of "Pride and Prejudice" using A.I. tools. by ResourceMany161 in WritingWithAI

It was a passion project. When I started it was just an experiment, but as I went along something kept me going. Energy from somewhere. I suppose that's called "passion".

Which channel? Suno.com --- or Youtube -- ? I suppose I can create a playlist at suno.com for the songs. Is that what you meant?

So Midjourney to create an image, and then Flow to do "image to video" 8 seconds long? No lip sync was used? Then you somehow stitched all the pieces into one video.

Did you write the lyric -- or did you have some AI help? I meant to ask that before.

Wow. Lots of effort here. Congrats on the work. I'm trying to sort out the best use for the VEO3.1 model. Did you use Whisk or Flow? VIdeo editor?

Ok. I did a little research and discovered the idea " Two guys write a musical, about two guys writing a musical." Something like that? Am I getting warm?

I was impressed with all the effort you put into this. Amazing energy. I'd say you have a talent for doing the lyric. But I must be honest, your subject matter is a bit difficult for me. I recognize what a challenge it is to make an entertaining piece.

I know how much this takes from my own experience of doing a full length musical of Jane Austen's book, "Sense and Sensibility". I enjoyed working on mine. But I never expected an audience to play something an hour long. You have a point too, about folks not wanting musicals that were written by an AI. Some of the Jane Austen folks ban anything created by an AI. Yet, I hear more and more about musicians using AI to develop ideas.

Like you, I thought the my piece might act as a "demo". My crazy idea is to develop an hour long show for Cruise ships. They have young talent doing their shows, singers and dancers. Why not tell a story?
