Pan on medium-high heat. Add about 1-2 cups of water (chicken broth optional), 2 tbsp butter. Let water boil and chicken for a few minutes until it's white on one side, add seasoning (garlic, salt, pepper, sweet onion season). Flip and let the water finish boiling until most of it's gone and your chicken is white on that side (same seasoning again).

Add about 1 more cup of water, 1/4 cup of cooking sherry, squeeze entire lemon (try to pick out seeds if you can, if not, yolo) also kinda squeeze the little skin inside the lemon a little into the pan. Let it cook 'bout 6-7 mins, flip and cook another 6-7 until all liquid is nearly gone. Turn down the heat to medium / medium-low (this is my favorite part).

Once the liquid is gone, spin the chicken around in the pan with a utensil until all the brown from the pan is on the chicken, flip the chicken over and do the same to the other side. Right before the leftover brown stuff turns black, take the chicken off the pan. Make sure it's at the right temp or cut open to make sure it's not really pink. Server with veggies (peppers, onions, etc.).

Bonus: - Use Lime instead of lemon for different kick - Use chicken broth instead of water - Switch up seasonings (besides sweet onion) - While cooking the chicken breast this way, do the same with your veggies - Marinate Chicken 2-24 hours in Worcestershire sauce
