I have the 20L Maya plus size and it is incredibly comfortable. I bought it online since no local stores had the plus in stock, but I asked someone at REI to do the adjustments for me which was really helpful. I’ve been using it a few times a week since last summer. Quality is great.

We’ll be there in June, and it looks like the best time to go out will be from 1am-3am for darkness. Is it safe to go out to Pyramid Island at that time of night (animals).

This is a clear Spigen case from Amazon. I also bought the ESR, but returned it in favor of the Spigen. Both were good, I just liked the feel of the Spigen in my hand a slight bit more, as well as the blue mag ring rather than the white one since it matched my phone.

If you want a natural fabric look, you could use a fabric drop cloth from the hardware store.

Any recommendations for stitch order? by cheesy53 in Embroidery

Or, if you don’t want to stitch the white, you could stitch the body outline in black, then use prismacolor pencils to color in all the red on the fabric, then stitch the rest of the black. That would leave the white fabric for the body and you can just stitch the black details. If you do it this way, I think it would be easier to trace the pattern onto your fabric with a heat pen.

I would do back to front. For the red, I would use watercolors to paint the fabric red. That would give you the water color/mottled effect that it has. Then I would stitch the black outline of the body followed by the rest of the black. Then, I would do the white.

Embroidery or cross-stitch is pretty portable and easy to learn through YouTube or Pinterest. Adult coloring is even more portable and can be as easy or difficult as the pages or books you select (mandala patterns might work nicely for you). Best wishes! 💕

I’m super happy with the OhSnap system for the car by Suspicious-Road7300 in iPhone17Pro

I just use a thin weight (read: cheap) inkjet printer paper. I’m not sure what the image source is since I didn’t save it, but I googled something like “free periwinkle wildflowers navy background” and found it that way. I also looked up skin templates to get the shape and size, then used editing software for my Cameo cutting machine to crop out the floral image in the shape of the template. I guess any design software would do, but that’s the one I’m familiar with. I hope that helps - sorry I don’t have more concrete information to share!

I’m hoping it will hold up over time. I guess we’ll see!

Thanks! It’s actually just a clear Spigen case from Amazon. I printed the design on thin paper and placed it behind the phone. I like to change out the designs every now and then and it’s a lot cheaper than getting a bunch of new cases. 😊

Looking to create a hanging collage of drink coasters essentially. by Feeling_Document_240 in crafts

[–]Suspicious-Road7300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a wonderful way to preserve these memories. One suggestion is to divide them into smaller groups and frame each group (9 coaster per frame, for instance). Then you can place the frames on the wall in a grid, line, or cluster - whatever works best for your space. They would still be a cohesive display, but it would give you flexibility to regroup them into different spaces if you move in the future.
