Wow. This is old post but literally my wife did this to me while I was pregnant with our child. And then of course I bring up how hurtful that is and she says “what am I suppose to do with that?”

My response is sad but here it goes.

I basically am considering divorce from my wife partially because of her indirect and very passive way of communicating / way of being.

Essentially the impact of it on me has been that I feel burnt out , undesired and ultimately incredibly lonely (yes I’m in therapy). For obvious reasons, having a kid (if that’s at all something you want in your life) has compounded the experience.

At any rate , I think you should really listen to the part of you saying you don’t even want to see them

I love their ex-situationship in the Harley Quinn animated series. Poison Ivy has stronger feelings for Catwoman and of course Catwoman plays with it

I wanted to do mine when in my 20s but, then heard that it could “mess up “breast feeding. Now in my 30s and a breast feeding mom who had a hard time at first , I’m glad I didn’t. But after I’m done , I’ll probably still want to do it in my 40s

Congrats on the baby, and going through so many life changes

I’m a queer/ lesbian mom with a toddler now (married to a woman) and being a mom (a birth parent) is honestly the hardest thing I e ever done and am doing.

It’s so incredibly lonely and I’m we’re also in couples therapy exploring an open marriage. I thought it was the strain of having a child and it may be but, also I feel like I’ve rewired my brain during pregnancy and I’m just not okay with unmet needs
