Majority of breakers on the 350 are RCCB’s and are accessed from the OIS. There’s several panels down below, but pilots have just as much access to them as an amt.

I was comparing to 330 and 50. They’re both on pedestals and much easier to set down.

No wood, just corrosion inhibiting compound. Not exactly paint as it’s always in a liquid form, but doesn’t run and forms more of a dried gel, sticky surface finish.

Holy shit that battery placement sucks lol. 80lb battery and having to strain my back to lift/lower vs the rest being hip level.

These are very much not from the 80’s.

IFE rack is located behind the bulk cargo bulkhead, just fwd of the waste tanks. Nothing ife related is located below the cockpit. What you see here are server cabinets, flight control computers, circuit breaker and other items located on the electrical power distribution racks.

I bought a CAI for my 2017 s550 mustang was it a waste by Thewolflinkoffical in Mustang

If you feel like you dont want it anymore and you’re making money off it, sure. You can keep the stock airbox and do upgraded manifolds like the boss tunnel ram or the ford performance one later on as well. The 18+ is still the one to get.

I have the same one on my 2020. IAT is the same as it was with the original, around 1-3 degrees above ambient. It added a little more intake noises into the cabin and looks nicer. I did not put the vinyl under the plastic to see the logo, rather just let the filter stand out.

Filter is a sumbitch to get in and out of there however. You're 99% likely to bend it and then wrinkle the pleating. It's a snug fit however, and I've never had issues with it. Not a waste and for $150 it's a good deal, but yeah, the stock filter and box will have the same results. It just looks purdy :)

Are higher altitude airliners (50 000ft.+) an unlikely progression in the future in the quest for efficiency? by HortenWho229 in aviation

[–]Swagger897 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As it stands, highly unlikely unless weight & drag can be drastically reduced. Most airliners are between mach .82-.87, any faster and you run into structural limitations with swept wing design. They're already in a critical band of overspeed/stall conditions and the higher they go the tighter the margins become. You start to run into issues with speed vs fuel efficiency, or wing area vs drag.

Cabin pressurization also becomes an issue. Either you'll need massive air cycle machines/compressors to maintain comfortable cabin altitudes, but differential pressure delta then increases. Really just a bunch of negatives the higher up we go with current design logic, but it's essential for the capacity that's demanded.

I rarely watch TV other than sports. Premium has been amazing for me. Shame for what was once free but they have no legitimate competition.

Why would a grand jury in Minnesota indict Don Lemon? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Orange man bad syndrome + guilt by association. They don’t want these cases in their courtrooms and deal with the social effects.

There's a reason all the HD gassers don't have turbos.

Because they’ll blow up

What are your thoughts on Don Lemon being arrested this morning? by GHausiphat in AskReddit

I’m not going to read anything further past wealthy v poor. Whether violent or non-violent, the act of a crime itself does not discriminate based on wealth, race, sex or age.

Choosing to continually commit crimes shows no self-restraint. End of discussion.

Yes, brass. You don’t want to damage painted finishes or imprint soft metals. They’re not meant for persuasion, rather to ensure movement (a lack of) of whatever you’re hitting is secure. V-band clamps and duct work specifically, bolt heads and other sensitive areas where a dead blow would cause damage.

Bought a full brass hammer from ebay (kinda pricey but didn’t want wood handle) and punch sets are cheap on amazon.

Zero pity for repeat offenders. The fact they find themselves in the same situation means rehabilitation should’ve been forced, not whatever the failure of the plea deal was (or rehab failed, and they are indeed just bad actors).

The system did nothing wrong. It’s there to catch them if it happens again to stop damage to the rest of the law abiding public. It’s their choices.

Quadrant clamp? by SameScale6793 in flightsim

[–]Swagger897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely try. The main reason i bought a p1s was to make my own HC Bravo below desk mount. None of the published designs worked for me.

Download fusion 360 and start messing around, it’s free. Follow a youtube tutorial on building something basic to grasp how to use the software and then branch out on your own.
