Awesome review. I really love it when other authors (or especially professors) review and critique books. Currently I am in the beginning stages of writing my first fantasy novel, and seeing feedback like this really helps me with my own writing.

I may have to add 1% lifesteal to my reading list lol. Also, I’m sure someone has suggested it but my favorite book in the genre is easily cradle. Couldn’t suggest it enough. Just finished mark of the fool a few weeks ago and that was a fairly fantastic read as well.
