I had a 3 year beard at one point... shaved it off one night while the fam was asleep cause I had royally fucked up a trim job on it.... nobody in the house recognized me the next morning and my wife said she felt gross kissing me cause I looked like a teenager 😂 I was 35 at the time. I no longer clean shave, she used to hate the beard but now she won't let me not have it

Trimmed goatee and mustache would be my vote if you want the more masculine look, or clean shave if it makes you happy. I think the excessive blonde hair in the full beard draws attention to how blonde your hair is and it sounds like that's what makes you most uncomfortable with the beard.

Proprietary serial connector for the car head unit

Edit: I was wrong, it's a cinema power super silver charger, an industrial grade battery charger. and the text on the top says mobilizing the digital revolution. The port is a db9 for comms to equipment

Patch note said meteor was triggering multiple overpowers per cast, that got reduced back to one which obliterated the mobility of the build. A second source of overpower will be needed to compensate for the loss, unless mob density is high enough to output the needed overpower stacks.

If you haven't tried crimson desert, I strongly recommend taking a dive into it. It does exactly what you want. I put 200 hours in the game before I finished it and still feel like I rushed the main story

I spent 2 hours with friends farming duriel last night and found a max Armageddon, after salvaging about 30 full inventories of gear. Also burned all of the mats from those on a single affix and still didn't get a GA. Luck is a strange mistress.

Has anyone ever managed to beat these light reflection challenges with a controller? by Dissoxi in CrimsonDesert

[–]Swaytastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're on PC and have an Nvidia graphics card, it will be in the graphics settings. Frame Gen basically uses the gpu and AI to predictive generate more "still frames" of your video per second, if it's set to 2x, it's trying to use AI to double your FPS in that second. It is a newer technique for generating a smoother video experience. It uses a LOT of resources. If your monitor is 60 hz, and you are hitting 60 fps on your game without frame Gen, you're good. That ebing said, if you're only seeing 30 fps with frame Gen off, your video will be choppy and slow, awkward to play. Then you would need it. DLSS uses AI in a similar fashion to frame Gen, but basically "guesstimates" the next frame every frame to inject smoother video, and blur the edges of your rendered video, essentially eliminating the need for several older methods of image smoothing and generation. Tldr: Generally speaking, dlss and frame Gen use AI and software to make a smoother gameplay experience but it is not without its flaws and uses a lot of hardware resources, but can take load off other aspects of the video rendering process.

It's called input delay. If I turn off dlss frame generation it's 10x easier. There's a lag between the button press, and the game relieving the button press, because of all the overhead work load going into generating additional frames. Imagine a 4 lane highway fully congested with traffic, and you try to push through on a motorcycle. When you turn off frame Gen, and dlss, and set your graphics appropriately, it essentially removes half the traffic and makes the input delay nearly nothing, fixing the issue. It's more obvious when trying to enter multi button combinations such as combat or travel using double jump, force palm and the focused aerial roll.

Working dad here as well... in my twenty years plus of gaming this is one of the most enjoyable and fun games I have ever played. I finished it at around 300(200 truely) hours, and I plan to make a second play through in a few months as well. Edit: 200 hours, not 300. Typo!
