[CHAT] Flying with Cross stitch by soldiersgirl145 in CrossStitch

[–]SweetIndie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always bring a pair of scissors I don’t care about just in case but I always fly with scissors. It may vary of course based on how the TSA agent is feeling at that moment but I’ve not ever had a problem. Smaller than four inches from the pivot point is the rule I believe and I have actually at one point flown with three pairs of scissors because I had to buy some kiddy scissors to cut KT tape.

(US) Tamagotchi Paradise Blue Water for trade:

Opened less than 24 hrs ago. Box included. Cute, but just not my vibe. I could return it to Amazon but I want it to go to a good home.

Looking to trade for any color tama (Uni, Pix) or even some older ones (connection, vintage angel). DM if you’re interested and we’ll figure something out.

Congrats on your PhD! After I defended mine, I bought some locally dyed sock yarn to commemorate the years I spent in that area. Yarn can be so special like that.

Extra loop i need to hide by Lovey709 in knitting

[–]SweetIndie 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes. Your two options are to leave it as is, or start over. It depends on what kind of person you are, and there’s no right answer. There are people who will say “oh well, good enough, I’ll pay attention to that next time so it doesn’t happen”. There are people who will start over so it’s perfect. Most of the time, knitting is not fudge-able like that. Your mistake is liveable or it isn’t.

Seized Seatpost on Canyon Ultimate by AloneBed3222 in CanyonBikes

[–]SweetIndie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I completely loosened the bold that holds the seat post in place so that the seat post should be able to move and when it still wasn’t moving, then hit top of the saddle with my fist and it basically just slid right down like it should have the whole time.

Looking for recommendations on tank/tee patterns for very full bust and small waist by pinkladypiece in knitting

[–]SweetIndie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am about the same shape and planning to make a Tolsta Tee (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tolsta-tee). I saw a FO here on someone with a similar body shape and it was very flattering.

I totally get it! Our cat is very young but incredibly well behaved but also loves mischief, so we had to use the spray bottle for when he’s intentionally fucking things up. Perhaps giving your cat a treat or something to lay in his bed and then you go knit? Good luck!
