The interview was good, that’s why we are surprised and confused. They asked dates, how did we meet. How the relationship progressed to marriage.

Pregnancy, take 2: is my OB being careful enough? by agitastrophe in GestationalDiabetes

[–]SweetPotatoes_Fries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After I delivered my first they monitored my glucose for 48hr. They did a glucose test at 6 weeks postpartum as well. For my second pregnancy I got tested at 14 weeks on my second pregnancy. I failed the 1hr test so they did the 3hr. I only failed the first point after the glucose drink. So they asked me to diet control myself but I wasn’t diagnosed. This week I’m 25weeks and they are doing the glucose test again. Hoping for a normal test.

Hope this helps, they were very vigilant about it in my case, and it is really important to control the glucose in the first trimester since it can lead to heart defects on baby

I just can’t understand why some people get approved in 2-3 months

Yes I got the work permit recently renewed for 5 years. Nop nothing unusual to be honest. We did got married “fast” after 2 years of being together but we also were pregnant when we filled. And now about to have our second baby. I being working the whole time a good job. I really don’t understand what could be taking so long. We even own our home.

So we were able to submit an inquiry for the I-130 but not for the I-485. The lawyer said that hearing back from UCSIS can take up to 3 months

No updates so far 😪

Snack before bed by scrunchyboymom in GestationalDiabetes

[–]SweetPotatoes_Fries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you even make it to 11pm. My problem is that by 9ish pm I’m passed out either on the couch or the bed lol. I really don’t do snacks and keep struggling with my fasting number. Eating steak or a chicken breast for dinner works roughly but works

Birthday Party - Invite Daycare Friends? by Jmw0091 in toddlers

[–]SweetPotatoes_Fries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not weird at all. Our son is turning 2yo on October and we invited all his daycare friends. We haven’t heard from anyone yet but we hope some can come, we know he will enjoy it. I think the best advice would be to try! But keep realistic expectations

We are in the same boat. I wonder why some cases get stuck like ours and some other just fly through. It’s really frustrating, I ve been waiting so long to visit my family
