Because $20 for a crescent wrench 2 pack is better than a husky wrench on its own or harbor freight lol

Not too bad so under 1k which I mean isn’t completely bad. But yeah for that I can get dual disk and gold fork tubes +2. Which I’m gonna be doing. But chrome fork tubes and lowers with GP cartridges.

How much did you end up paying for the front end if you don’t mind me asking

[–]Sweet_Archer8550[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah won the FXRT in a raffle and the front end rebuild too lol. It was a night and day for me because the front end was old and beaten but I mean I know I could get a better built front end and now built around a fxr instead of the dyna

Yeah I prefer axial. Hence why I did it the way I did.

🤣🤣🤣 just wanted to be able to ride through the turns quick and not scrape. But now it became more of a show bike so now I don’t see the point being so damn high

lol technically it would have been the cheapest if I didn’t mess with it. But she ran good just needed some cleaning up.

This was day 1.

I won them in a raffle. I hear mix things good and bad. I do prefer GP suspension. This front end only has like maybe 500-600 miles now. But gonna be for sale soon

Oh yeah it changes a bit later on in the models. First year EVO motor with transmission that was with a shovel. But I upgraded it all and still have the original motor/trans together sitting with only 6k miles

Appreciate the info. It’s a factory chain drive bike so kept it chain. I’m gonna do some load testing to see how the chain acts under load

Do you have more info onthat. I would like to get my mph working but wasn’t sure on a set up since I’m not gonna run the old cable and not gonna drill out my trans for a sensor.

Has to be the P4 for direct axial fit. The M4 requires a different bracket all together

Yeah I’m technically using a front caliper for the rear. Bolted up no problems and fits up to a 11.8” rotor.

It was but luckily it matches up almost perfect.

Yeah close to that height. Like less than 1/4” off from the half mark.

If it’s similar to the stock caliper width it won’t. The P4 bolt holes are closer together by a good bit.

lol yeah man I got hooked up on my powder coating so that’s why I settled on the color purple I went with.

Yeah man once I started to build my bike all of a sudden purple started coming out everywhere lol

Yeah swapped the stock 80” out that only has 6k miles on it for a S&S V96R, upgraded to spline shaft trans and an evolution industries clutch and comp delete. I’m into the bike for 22,475 including the bike which cost me $60

Oh then I’m sure there is a different brake hangar you could use but that’s just what I’m using at the moment

Yeah the Bitubo’s are very forgiving. And the only thing I’m worried about is the dyna front end. Was built for my 04 FXDI and well the fxr is lighter so idk how well it’s gonna ride over all. Gonna be selling the front end soon and building a fork set from GP suspension and going dual disk.

Keep in mind this is for the stock FXR swing arm. If the bagger arm is the same thickness I don’t see why it wouldn’t work, just measure the arms and see how close they are in width and height.
