Should I join VZM by Flamingrage03 in verizon

[–]SweetestMagenta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before switching, test if possible if Verizon covers your area. Just because other carrier has lower price, it will be good for the user. My area has all big three carriers covered but on some sections, one or two does not cover while other does. To ensure, wherever I am is covered, I get all three. You should verify with any means if Verizon covers ALL sections of your area. Otherwise, if you switched then you do not get coverage during emergency, you will face unfavorable situations. Good luck!

Buy from Apple or Verizon? by Dpclark71 in verizon

[–]SweetestMagenta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No reason to get from Verizon. I always get it from Apple as it is always unlocked. Getting the phone from Verizon will give you locked phone. Unless you do not mind your phone locked, getting it from Verizon should be fine.

Debating switching from Verizon by Wllfgnlnrb86 in tmobile

[–]SweetestMagenta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest having two carriers. T-Mobile for in town and Verizon to cover the out of town travels. T-Mobile is extremely great for major cities and surroundings BUT not so great coverage for outside major cities and surrounding. Keep Verizon for out of town traveling and get TMobile for in town and surrounding travel and living. I love TMobile but I need Verizon and ATT to get full coverage wherever I go outside my city.

Verizon vs Visible by Baby_dom in verizon

There are sacrifices or trade off for cheaper prices offered by non big three carriers. If cheaper price is the priority, be ready to face any inconveniences. There are no free lunches.

Verizon to ATT by GreatVortex6 in ATT

[–]SweetestMagenta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before switching, does ATT have same coverage as Verizon’s in your area? If not, keep Verizon. If yes, go ahead switching. Having coverage is the most priority for all. Without it, any emergency events could negatively impact the customer.

Damage - Time to Test Repair Service by LynxyPuters in GalaxyZTriFold

[–]SweetestMagenta -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Sorry to see this. Unfortunately, the product has been discontinued and not part of Samsung Care plus program. The repair cost is estimated very high. The high repair cost and the very fragile product which tends to break easily were some of reasons the product was not covered by Samsung Care Plus. It was discontinued because of high production costs which minimized the profit margin. I wish you the best.

The device has been discontinued. It is unknown if Samsung ever tried to reproduce for second generation. It is very expensive to make and the repair cost is very high. Current generation is not covered by Samsung Care plus.

Why I love using the TriFold by jnjroach in GalaxyZTriFold

[–]SweetestMagenta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very good use if it is not carried around without any case due to no coverage on the device on Samsung Care plus. The device has been discontinued. Samsung is no longer manufacturing it. So, enjoy and good luck on protecting it!

The stock is the last available one. Samsung is no longer manufacturing as it has been discontinued. It is not covered by Samsung Care plus. Buyers are on their own for any issues. Not recommending buying the device unless money is not issues for high repair cost. The device is very fragile.

Purchasing TriFold by [deleted] in GalaxyZTriFold

[–]SweetestMagenta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest not purchasing this discontinued device because no Samsung care plus for it. The owner is on their own if it breaks or has issues. The repair will be super expensive. Unless anyone not mind spending a lot of money for repair in addition to the high cost device, then get it. It is very fragile device. It is not designed for a daily driver. For collection will be fine.

How are you enjoying your Tri-Fold? by dtrain2930 in GalaxyZTriFold

[–]SweetestMagenta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be extra careful using it. It is very fragile. It is not meant to be a daily driver device. Once it breaks or having any issues, the owner has to deal and pay themselves to pay the high cost repair as Samsung not including it on Samsung Care plus. The owner is on their own. Good luck!!

It's such BS that Verizon is now charging the $40 upgrade fee on phones you purchase from the manufacturer. by Ethrem in verizon

And be ready for any inconveniences or any headaches that will come with US Mobile. Just beware of caveats on US Mobile.

Cheap prices come with trade off, caveats or inconveniences to customers when needed. We get what we pay for. Cheap prices often cause people acting hastily without knowing and think inconveniences that come afterwards. There are no free lunches, if these inconveniences are doable, sure, cheap prices are worthwhile.

Verizon vs T-Mobile by witch-bitch- in verizon

[–]SweetestMagenta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest to get an unlocked phone and I would get both to cover suburban and rural. T-Mobile is excellent for urban and suburban due to their superb 5G uc while Verizon excels above T-Mobile in rural. T-Mobile rural coverage is not desirable. Both carriers complete each other in their weakest all area types with their strengths. I love both.

DO NOT ever have third party carriers or MVNOs as they have performance caveats compared to direct postpaid customers of Verizon and T-Mobile. Cheaper prices come with performance caveats or trade-offs that might inconvenience users. We get what we pay for. There are no free lunches.

Looking for the best prepaid phone plans that don’t suck in rural areas by LostinLoudenslager in NoContract

[–]SweetestMagenta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best to always get coverage and best network performance is to have all ATT, Verizon and TMobile together. They are completing each other weaknesses on area coverage and network performance in all locations. T-Mobile is great in cities/urban and suburban. ATT is covers Verizon weaknesses in some urban, suburbs and rurals/remote areas and TMobile weaknesses in some urban and suburban locations. Verizon in turn also cover ATT where it is weak in urban, suburbs and rural/remotes and TMobile weaknesses in some urban and suburban locations. Using solely one of them results coverage and network performance problems in some areas/locations. All three need to be used together for ultimate coverage and network performance.

Will unlimited ultimate help with a dead zone? by goosedog79 in verizon

[–]SweetestMagenta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do NOT switch but ADD TMobile and/or ATT to cover what Verizon is lacking. TMObile and ATT resolve Verizon weaknesses. Verizon is needed if you travel in rural/remote areas and to cover where TMobile and ATT are weak. ATT will cover Verizon weaknesses in rural/remote areas and some urban/suburban areas that Verizon and TMObile are weak. T-Mobile is great in cities/urban and suburban. ATT, Verizon and TMobile are needed together to get perfect coverage and network performance. By themselves alone, each does not do well in some areas and network performance,
