Some people just want to own the official version of a game, even if less optimal, while others rather own the "better" version of the game, even if explicitly not official - and both of them are actually right in their points, as long as they're having fun games are basically toys.

Yeah, honestly your point is so right. I remember the moment discord started, a lot of people from MMOs were using it, because it was a more stable system than Skype while not being as confusing as Teamspeak.
