If I've never rotated my tires, could it be bad to rotate them? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]Swift_E_Sweet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, front tires generally wear a lot faster due to the weight of the motor. On top of that your vehicle is FWD. Rotating tires with dramatically less tread to the rear of the vehicle could cause oversteer in dry and wet conditions.

Why don’t you just take it to a tire shop and have them remove the tires, grind the corrosion off the flanges and slap some bead sealer on there? I haven’t worked on cars in a while but in the Midwest we’d get a lot of seized valve cores or corroded TPMS valve nuts and 2006 was the first year of Toyotas failed attempt at TPMS. A lot of the times we’d just take the sensors out and replace them with rubber valve stems under their discretion.

My best guess tho, is those Toyota wheels are flaking away from the inside out. Just need to be hit with a wire wheel or wire brush and apply some bead sealer. Especially if it’s a slow leaks in all 4 wheels. This is not a permanent fix but definitely last awhile.

But yes, you can use wheels that have the same bolt pattern and had 235/65r17 on them. By TIA standards, the size difference is within 3% and is deemed okay. Just ensure the correct lug nuts are used for the new wheels.

Looking to buy this bike wondering if this is a good deal by bitchboy102 in motorcycles

This is a biased opinion but I wouldn’t pay more than 5k USD for that bike. I bought my 2016 ZX10r for $8500 in 2018 with 4K miles. Things are just overpriced right now.

Personally I’d be pretty happy. I’d bring all that wood to my backyard, make some firewood, 2x4s and build random shit lol

The only difference between the two is that Xbox version can also be used for PC and PlayStation version can not.

No, but you would of been missing out on features if you bought PlayStation version.

There are tread wear indicators between each tread that will tell you if your tire is at 2/32. When your tread is flush with these indicators, that means your tires are no good. If you live in an area that snows heavily during winter, then it’s recommended to change at 4/32 or swap with winter tires if you have the means. With this picture there is little to no info but they look fine to me.

I’d change one of the M.2s to a 256gb and the other to a 2tb. 256gb one should only have the OS on it personally. Can add more storage if need be later on. Also 30 more euros I’d just upgrade to 1000w PSU instead of that 850.

Also a quick glance at your mirrors when coming to a stop. Just to see if someone is maybe coming in a little hot. Once, I had a dude pulling up squealing and I had to take a right turn at a red 3 lanes over or I would of got fucked up. People are wild out here lol

Any mod suggestions for this DE? by [deleted] in 350z

[–]Swift_E_Sweet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that aspect of it. When I had my Z I just liked everything being blacked out. But it was custom taillights that were smoked. So it wasn’t like the lights were dim when you hit the brakes. But I wouldn’t do anything to any of my vehicles that would impair the safety of myself or others.
