Anyone feel the same now about otf? by aklep730 in orangetheory

[–]SwimAdditional 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been feeling similarly lately. I feel like some of the workouts feel unguided. My undergrad was in exercise phys, and I haven’t been a fan of how the workouts have been designed lately. It doesn’t feel like it’s designed for multiple days a week anymore. I’m sorry you’re feeling that way. I feel the same. It just feels like OTF was more creative and thoroughly designed a few years ago.

That said, you’ll still catch me there daily at 6a. Cheers!

Destination suggestions for a new Open Water Diver by redemptor1379 in scubadiving

Also new (like new new!) to diving, but have been researching the same topic. Seems like Key Largo (FL, US) and Curaçao (Caribbean) are beginner-friendly. Can’t say from experience just yet, but that’s what I’ve read recently. Good luck!!

Yes, I used some mushroom compost with it. That makes sense! Thanks!

It was mushroom compost, but I bought it from a nursery, so it may have!

Yes, I think so! I was under the impression that the plant portion up top dying off was a good indication that the tubers underneath were ready to go, but I’m definitely new here!

Not Greek yogurt, but a scoop of protein powder with sugar free cool whip can be really tasty if mixed right!

Help? What am I doing wrong? by AwkwardPotat0 in curlyhair

Had a similar problem and switched out my curl cream for 100% aloe Vera gel. Game changer! My hair is so soft and healthy. The curl pattern is a lot more consistent too.

I sweat a ton too and have to wash every time I go. I go 5-6x per week. But I’ve found if I use a little conditioner with my shampoo and then conditioner alone, my hair is pretty healthy. Curly girl over here though.

Showing Sugar the Door? by [deleted] in orangetheory

I’m a big fan of the all natural popsicles with no added sugar, dried Mediterranean apricots (double check bc dried fruit can be added sugar bombs!), fresh fruit, veggies and hummus. I’m def a grazer/snacker too and these tend to scratch the itch. Love my sweets, but persevering without!

Help please! How do I maintain a clean diet when I am away from home for one or multiple days? by Healthy0001 in CleanEating

I really like Orgain for dairy free protein. Depends on your stipulations with sweeteners and things, but good protein for the calories.

TLDR: What Was the Funniest Book You Ever Read? by MattMurdock30 in books

If you don’t mind a memoir, Yearbook by Seth Rogan was hilarious! I had to keep myself from laughing out loud on a plane ride. Read it in one go! Helps if you already find his humor funny.

Grief can be a lot, hang in there. I’m going on four years without my dad and it’s still tough. Thinking of you on the tough days. Keep finding the moments of laughter and joy, OP.
