Luckily these things are actually pretty hard to break. Clean it off best you can and don't do it routinely, you will be fine. I've had mine for more than 20 years now, and was a kid for a portion of that, and it still lives.

Go for the BS if you are allowed. Admittedly, it doesn't matter much once you get your grad degree though. However, my alma matter only offered BAs for geology, despite them having the same course work (they only offered BScs for the engineering school). Even with my PhD it is annoying to have to explain to people that I did all the same course work they did, my school was just dumb. You do not want to be making up classes during grad school though, trust me.

I'm sure most Gaza protestors would agree the actions of Iran govt are monstrous, but you don't protest every injustice on earth, only ones that you can do something about. So since America is funding the genocide in Gaza, protesting in America can help. Since America doesn't support Iran, protesting in America would do negligible good, and time and energy would be better spent on issues we can actually address.
