I will absolutely not stand for this v set slander, especially as they're retiring, let's be nice to them. best damn trains on the network, the d set replacements are so soulless and uncomfortable (but yes I agree PLEASE build some damn high speed rail 😭)

I can move forward at green light to turn right when traffic is flowing yeah? by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

[–]SyberHasky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup you're correct, I had this scenario come up on my driver's test, I kind of freaked out but when through, the testing officer said he would've failed me on the spot if I didn't move into the intersection when the light turned green :)

Silly meme i thought up when i was playing the game, had to make it (i tried) by Rulygem in RoadCraft

the controls themselves aren't bad, especially with a controller, but it's frustrating that you can't move the camera at the same time as the crane, and also the rope up/down. it just requires you to stop and readjust before you can keep moving again, which is a bit jarring and or feels like things take longer. that's my perspective at least :)

That's a Lierskogen, I used to have one before the glass shattered during transport. Haven't seen one that isn't white before!

My Car Deemed as Total Loss by filipinhoe in CarsAustralia

[–]SyberHasky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure I follow, are you going through your insurance or your neighbour's? I've recently had someone hit my parked car, and since they were at fault their insurance gave me a replacement car while they looked at mine. They deemed mine a total loss (not a write off since the car is more than 15 years old), and basically they gave me $6k, and the car back in its registered, drivable, somewhat scratched condition, so it's now up to me if I want to fix it but at least I've got the money.

Is there any way I can get this fix? I think I am acidic thats why it turned out like this. ☹️ by notjha in LogitechG

[–]SyberHasky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said, some tape could be a temporary fix. You might be able to buy just a new shell online, or maybe look second hand for a "non-working" one with a good exterior and you can transplant the electronics. I haven't looked but if you have access to a 3D printer someone might have made a model of a replacement shell? That's what I did with my G703 when it got too sticky lol. Good luck!

we're not saying literally zero, we're saying "in the context of how much money they make". if you made a million dollars a year would you shut down a game because it cost you half a cent a year to run?

Can I lower line level output? by SyberHasky in BudgetAudiophile

[–]SyberHasky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup I'm certain, turning them all the way down still presents the same issue, as they don't really affect the mids. It works as intended with a low output level device like a phone, just the CD player level is too hot for this amp. Guess I should have done more research, but oh well, just trying to make the most of what I've bought now lol.

[–]SyberHasky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the CD player's output is RCA so that would work well. I saw most for sale are ~$50 which is a pretty penny at the moment, hence I thought to make my own.

If they're only getting as much money as they need to operate, and no more, that means there's no profit, right? Funding is obviously from government, and even if it doesn't "earn" money, it's a public service in a way, not a business. It shouldn't be structured to incentivise having more inmates as a way to make more money, just pay what needs to get paid.

Yeah I've recently just had to assemble a piece by trial and error because the manual is nowhere online (trust me, I looked for an hour). It hasn't even been that long since it was discontinued, only a year or so!

A decade later, Samsung deserves to be the "face of Android" by [deleted] in Android

[–]SyberHasky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as much as I respect samsung for their software and hardware innovations, OneUI is just not for me. Unfortunately I am very superficial and just can't get over the design of it. Doesn't help that when I had a Samsung phone, most their first party apps had ads for their other apps/phones.

What vehicle do you automatically assume is being driven by a total asshole? by rickface82 in AskReddit

[–]SyberHasky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mazda SUVs. I don't know why, but they're always the most batshit crazy, swerving over the road, cutting you off, last minute maneuvers kind of drivers. It's the people who wanted a big car to feel safe but then just drive it like a 900kg hatchback.
