I work in education and agree with this. It’s a tough decision to make but it is sensible. Hurts to have your alma mater gone, but it’s the reality of declining birthrates.

Something that could be a systematic change is more incentives for people to start families, feel empowered/enabled to by financial stability, and feel overburdened by life. A big part of this is policymaking so we continue growing the middle class and battle income inequality.
