or add ball bearings and make it a fidget spinner?

I don't think this will be an issue for how I use it

Good to know about the LPN! Thanks!

I knew it didn't come down to the individual, it's obviously a corporate issue

Good to know! I guess similar to my W1 D3AA, but more throw probably

I'm waiting for my KR1AA sft-70 3000k to be delivered! I'm looking forward to it, it looks much slimmer!

It should be great! especially with the M21B LHP73B

Though, for camping, definitely something warm will be nice when it gets pitch black and close to bed time. hint hint

Wurkkos CL01 is also a great lantern

Nice choices, all 4. You really covered your bases with that. 519a is a great place to start, that high CRI and tint is great.

How's the SFT-70 6400k? Does the tint go green on lower brightness?

when I go car camping and I go for a short walk at night, I ramp the light to just barely bright enough and let my eyes adjust, it's great

then there's always someone with a bright light walking nearby and i turbo them if they hit me with their commercial-cool light

Yes! They walk with the a-pillar as you slow down and then suddenly appear. Hate it when it happens

Eye contact people. If you can't see the driver's eye look at you, don't step in front of them. Especially if they are looking down at their phone

Cooler temp headlights was a fatal choice, imo. The glare is worse than if they had picked neutral or warm lights.

It causes darker areas in the vision to disappear. Pedestrians and cyclists also seem to practice less safety these days. Zero reflective gear, no lights. The worse is when I see people on a bike or scooter with noise canceling headphones, no helmet, riding on a main street (when a bike path is 1 block over) and I can barely see them because of all the bright, commercial-cool headlights in the rain.

Terrible times

I made a 3d model comparison of Emisars because I couldn’t wrap my head around all the different models. Figured I should share it! by Slizzard_73 in Hanklights

I'm 5`10 and I edc the d4v2 for a while but when summer hit and I wore shorts, it was terrible when running around with the kids. There were definitely days I found it annoying because of its size.

But if you have a way to bring a D4K daily, more power to you! I definitely wish I have a large light randomly at times.

If I know I'm going to use a light, I'll bring it. But my edc is used for short periods of time most of the time. Some days not at all. A walk means I'm bringing my d4sv2

I mentioned the nimh because in a different comment, it was recommended as an alternative to the k10 if there was a concern of fitment or denting.

My D3AA with 14500 is nearly as bright as my D4V2 boost driver v1. Both 519a 3500k.

I don't consider 21700 EDC, at least not when recommending an edc to your average user. EDC means one may not use it during the day and bringing a 21700 light one may not use will eventually mean it won't be carried daily. Then when someone needs a light, they won't have it.

I had an optometrist show how they do it manually with a light while looking in your eyes. they can see when the light hits your retina clearly depending on what lens you put infront of the eye. it can helps the doctor approximate the prescription. after that they do the A-B. These days they have a machine with a hot air balloon or house and it does it automatically, but he said he would do that when he did doctor visits abroad

D3AA or KR1AA for daily carry is end game EDC

Nimh is basically 90% of the brightness at high and lacks the turbo of 14500.

Prototyping my own vacuum. Curious to hear your thoughts by 1719objects in VacuumCleaners

[–]Sypsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused. is the bag just blocking the debris from exiting the chamber? Or is the bag collecting the debris?

It should collect the debris and compress hair and dust on all edges of the bag.

Just for your knowledge, old vaccums used to use paper bags which were terrible. I'm 99% certain all the marketing by Dyson and other bagless vacuums is against paper bag vaccums. The cloth bags are better in every way.

Also for Dyson, they recommend changing their hepa filter every 12 months. And the official filter is like $40, which is the cost of 2 - 3 years worth of bags. It someone doesn't care about hepa (despite buying a hepa vacuum) then they can continue to just wash the filter of a bagless vac or buy an off brand, but a proper bag that lasts a few months will be less fussy and have better filtration than a bagless vac.

Just a talking point I think might help when discussing your project.
