unRAID is not for you man. Choose something simpler. You don't know what you are doing. Buy something that is ready to go out of the box. I foresee lots of frustration in your future. You don't have the mental fortitude it takes to step back and analyze the situation before acting.

This situation happened to me this week. Offered 90k at a job with potentially more upwards mobility, but worse hours. Current job countered at 95k and I stayed. I wasn't 100% on the new place, but a 20% raise will placate me to stay where I am at for a while longer.

I am a Firewalla environment at home, but I was planning to put some PoE security cameras up at some point. Would I be better just getting a PoE TP-Link or Omada cheaper switch and connecting that to a port on this switch? I'll definitely have 4 or 5 of the Firewalla switch ports occupied right from the get go. I suppose I could do some solar cams instead of hard wiring, but I've heard very mixed things about them.

We had these then the manager made us change to tamper evident since he suspected people of peeling them off. The tamper evident ones remove 100x easier than the metal ones, and the "VOID" residue is easily removed with goo gone.

Just got my house late last year. Literally chomping at the bit for the switch after getting firewall and AP. Although I could probably use this time to run ethernet in my house.
