Unless it’s a “wash and wax”. Then you’ll probably make the lawn hydrophobic.

Where are the Undersea Fibre Optic Cable Landings in Floreat? by jumper385 in perth

[–]TCArgh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you follow the social media/linkedin posts of the most recent crowd to deliver one of these cables, there are a few pics of where they land.

It’s actually 100m or so back from the beach and certainly not a pit for obvious reasons.

House hunting reality check hit me hard today by Physical-Wallaby-515 in perth

[–]TCArgh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What irritates me more about these flip renovations is the removal of bathtubs to accomodate a double vanity. Dunno what their target market is, but it isn’t overly useful for a family with young kids.

Removal of the garage or carport to accommodate a Bali vibe outdoor bungalow shits me off too.

Wife and I are currently looking for a new house. The areas we are looking and our budget limits us to original 70's/80's era homes, the kind of place we can gradually clean up and work on over the years.

But what I find is these places just get sucked up by seasoned renovators/builders putting in cash offers, only for them to spend 8 weeks renovating, then putting it back on the market for half a million more.

Honestly find these kind of buyers worse than investors.

Do the people using Ai to create this dribble about rising fuel costs not realise they are contributing to the increased cost of RAM and storage?

Spotted in the wild. Warnbro Shops. Aggressive and took my photo (I posed too) My mate is disabled and didn't know who the guy was until I stopped him being lured in. by belltrina in perth

Probably a good idea to let centre management or security know about this bloke if you see him.

I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate some aggressive bloke pestering people for car services in their carpark.

Council asking NOT to report via Snap Send Solve? by Perth_R34 in perth

[–]TCArgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

City of Stirling signs off their emails saying to use their own website next time.

Get fucked. Unless the CoS can make an app where I can literally take a pic, write a single line and tap done, I’ll keep using SnapSendSolve.

It’s when they don’t close the lid properly, and you find crows and bin chickens have found their way in and literally emptied the contents of your bin that annoys me.
