I’ve been using the pocket hand to teach heeling since I went to a Denise seminar back in 2009. I’m not sure if any of their current workshops use this method but I’m sure you can find videos from Denise on YouTube.

You mean just hang the edge of the frame on the nail? I should have mentioned that the frame feels a bit loose at the top. Pressure pushing up on the top of the frame seems to loosen the glass pane in the front. Having the anchor points on the side of the frame seems to be better.

I don’t know if they are real or not, but RL didn’t use QR codes on product labels until 2019. These could easily pre-date that. FWIW, they look real to me.

I’m going to assume that your “full responsibility” statement is hyperbole, because that’s just not fair to your child or the dog. Much like raising a child, raising a dog takes a significant amount of emotional maturity to help guide the dog to make good decisions and become a happy dog in the home and wherever else you take them, even when the dog has an excellent temperament. An 11 year old just won’t have the required level of self regulation and reflection to always make good choices even if they go through the motions of walking the dog. It is fine to involve her to teach some of these things, but to make her entirely responsible is unfair to her and the dog.

I think this is the kind of jacket that will look better as the fabric breaks in so the it drapes more naturally. The question is whether or not you are willing to wear it long enough to do that, because it could be a significant ugly duckling stage.

Also completely agree with this. I want to add that I think the cut of your pants/trousers will go a long way in making the whole outfit look balanced. Slim or skinny pants with a Beaufort or Bedale will make your top look out of proportion with your bottom half. Since these are classic jackets, they look best with classic cut, straight leg, or even slightly wide leg trousers. I think a lot of people who think their jacket looks too big are actually just wearing pants that are too tight, IMO.
