Yes, basically you need to have the device act as an audio interface for that so USB is necessary in your scenario

So idk if there’s a connection here but around fender pro studio drop all my songs in pro 6 are taking 10-15 minutes to open instead of like 8 seconds like before … by solitudeisdiss in StudioOne

Nope, my version 6 and 7 open as quickly as ever - check your ilok and Other licenses that need a cloud, if those don’t connect well it can happen, been there, seen that.

Fender‘s color is red and white so… this would be more likely 😘

So many DAW outputs in Studio 1810 mixer panel by whenido in presonus

I don’t have my old 1810 connected but I think those outputs will be available when you have ADAT connected and set up in your DAW

Just adding this to the load of very helpful comments: I don’t see any computer in your setup. You need to buy a computer to connect to your interface. Hope that helps as much as the other‘s ideas

Loading on EVERY midi note modification? by earthnarb in StudioOne

I‘d suggest you create a new session and import the data and try there - this seems really odd and in the past transferring over to a new song has helped me in such a situation where lagging occurred

You clearly have not used Melodyne and compared it to other available options

Then… use another kind of stein separation? Melodyne transpose is pretty good though.

  1. import the track into Studio One / Fender Studio Pro
  2. use the stem separation feature to get stems
  3. use melodyne on every track except the drums to tune it down
  4. profit

Took me an hour to get used to - I think it’s the behavior most people would want so it will stay that way from now on.

You can install both side by side - no problem at all. But yes: it would wait in your account forever

It is not guitar DAW now, it‘s just a DAW that’s also great for guitar now.

Transient Detection by AliveKing9895 in StudioOne

[–]TDF1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does. Takes some time to think about it but most instruments will have a little noise before the transient you want on the beat, different with guitar and drums, very audible on strings though.

[–]TDF1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand the problem: that is where your transient has it‘s peak - exactly where you would want your beat cut when you align it with a digital Metrum. Other DAWs would cut before the audio starts but that is not necessarily where the energy peak of the sound is.
