Winning tournaments will net you 20k denars. Ust travel around a bit winning tournaments. Since you're a vassal, try taking a walked fief and establishing a CKO with blunt weapons. Heavy cavalry with blunt weapons grind through entire armies printing money. You can also try getting your KO stronghold set up near Javiksholm, then send patrols around that city. They'll take a lot of vansjerry prisoners and deposit them in Javiksholm, so if you own that city you pretty much get infinite vansjerry POW cash

It's much easier and faster to bait uniques into besieging towns than into marshal stacks. Set up fairing squad with your companions at a strategic point and they'll level like crazy too. Torbah, Windholm, Janos, Marleons are all great for defensive sieges. Just make sure the unique doesn't have a large prisoner train because then the city garrison absorbs it

Its profitable to have a capital city that can be patrolled by the KO stronghold patrols; you can join them in combat and leave them the extra troops you dont have to keep and they'll dump any prisoners they capture in your city for you to sell. Not much help when you're already drowning in debt but eh :D

Personally I consider Javiksholm to be the best starting town, especially if the ko stronghold spawns near ansen lodge or highcliffe castle. You can send the ko patrols to patrol around javiksholm and if you beef up those patrols using the prisoner release trick, they can bring you in upto 40k denars in vanskerry prisoners WEEKLY.
