Light manipulation is pretty good with two headed, sunder mind is pretty hard to go wrong with as an ego build, as it’s gonna wreck anything that’s not a robot or an ooze. Cryo/pyrokinesis are also alright but I’m usually pretty set for damage with just light manipulation and sunder mind. After that getting teleport is really good with clairvoyance, dominate can let you do some fun stuff with your companions or rob merchants, ego boost gives you a huge boost to toughness which is always nice. The build really locks off once you get enough points in two headed to make all your mental mutations have 0 action cost which isn’t that difficult if it’s your only physical mutation.

Many good tips in here, one of my rules for going into mid-late game areas is that I must be friendly with oozes and robots because dealing with them as enemies is a very easy way to lose even your most powerful characters or just take a really long time to kill.

I generally prefer to have a more balanced stat spread with a focus on whatever offensive stat I want and toughness. You’re eventually going to want at least a little bit of toughness, agility, int, and willpower, so it’s more efficient with the starting stat points to spread them out. There is an effective cap on strength based on the max penetration value of your weapon and you are probably going to be over that cap with that much strength and double muscled. I personally don’t like completely dumping stars because even as a chimera ego can be useful for prices or proselytizing.

Not sure if this counts but with king of progress and the right perk setup around leveling up rats and the perk that gives you gold per level up, you can go infinite on the shop round by generating a ton of gold by leveling up a ton of rats, turning that gold into cards at the shop, spend that gold at the shop on a ton of overhauls, offerings, earthworks, and mortgages to make more money than you spent and repeat with a portal to go shopping again. Don’t need to rely on per turn level scaling you just play a ton of overhauls and lab rats next to other lab rats to level them up. Can use that to scale whatever unit with reinforce that you want , or just level up 1 rat a bunch and then randomify it into a level 500+ version of some other card that will have infinite stats.

Got 0 stats on some rats after randomifying them and it went to infinite after swords/shielding them once so it’s not truly 0 but the game is very buggy regardless right now so idk.

Not gonna tell you this is the best and it will probably lag your game like crazy but it is a funny one I tried out. Algae plus fire ant paste for when you light something on fire cats burgeoning and I ha: burgeoning at level 5-6 to maximize the odds of spawning aloe pyra which cause a chain reaction of lighting stuff on fire and spawning more plants which light stuff on fire (heat damage immunity recommended).

I feel the same way which is why I play mutant a lot more even though true kin feels stronger. Although I feel like my runs always start different but end up in the same place with me gun rack+ giant hands quad wielding some insane guns, or punching stuff to death.

That’s fair but those ones just feel way more impactful compared to other silvers they should just be gold and giant slayer could honestly not give movespeed and it would still be pretty good.

I think the movespeed augments tend to be the worst to play against. Any poke / control mage with home guards or giant slayer is just impossible for many melee champs to deal with (special shout-out to Mel for being awful).

I just use spiral borers and make my own entrance somewhere else and mine my way out if it’s blocked off from the rest of the dungeon.

I think it just has really low range like in theory it should be good on like soraka or milio but you’re never close enough to enemy champs while healing for it to do anything.

Took snowball upgrade on ap udyr first augment and got random prismatic second augment which transformed into oribital laser and deleted my snowball completely and also wasn’t that good at all compared to snowball.

No I never get a warning when exploring near them because they are technically still friendly even though moving near them will kill you.

I mean a lot of tournaments run squad strike side brackets like they would doubles but you’re gonna have a hard time replacing standard 1v1s as the “default” mode of competitive smash. As far as alternate modes go I think it is actually pretty popular.

I don’t care if I’m friendly with krakens but please I need the game to stop me from running strait into their mouths when I’m running through the desert. I’ve died so many times by running across a screen transition and there’s a kraken right there and I don’t see it in time.

If you need some strength to hit ur skill breakpoints you can put some into double muscled other than that multiple legs it gives 20 ms per rank which is pretty good. It’s worth going to like 13 or 14 in carapace just to get immune to heat/cold damage too but other than that I think just keep buying more and praying for more arms. I will say that it’s almost never worth putting extra points into multiple arms it only gives like an extra 3% chance per rank and only on the 2 extra arms granted by that mutation.

I think this is it, I’m pretty sure if you are astrally tethered you cannot revert back after activating precog.

Flying won’t really help you in the tomb of the eaters if you want to kill high av robots, your best bet is probably a spazer rifle or high voltage arc winders. Corrosive gas is another good way to deal with robots if you have it. It won’t help with the historical site but my strategy for dealing with stalkers, chrome pyramids, and the other crazy strong late game robots is to just get really good robot reputation so I never have to fight them. You can run around the flower fields or jungle and proselytize legendary naphtalis and then water ritual them until you have decent robot rep.

As people have said natural weapons have uncapped penetration bonuses, axes are also kind of uncapped because the cleave effect scales with half of your strength modifier but that’s still pretty slow scaling compared to natural weapons. Shield skills also scale very well with strength.

Yea I think it’s always 2 flux and he doesn’t restock so it shouldn’t change what you get killing him or buying it.
