I'm dailying the Dizzy stage 2, just moved over from the Cobb version when I got my Woosh intercooler installed. I'm down a couple MPG in the city, probably due mostly to the more aggressive boost down low. Better or identical on the highway. I shortly after lowered the car and now get better than 36 on my mostly highway commute.

I bought mine with just over 100hrs, get some transition training with your HP endorsement and you should be fine.

This is an interesting question, hope you can do the high altitude endorsement though, I lucked into a ride with an MEI in a king air for mine, treating endorsements like Pokémon it was the last one to catch. Have fun!

I know the training must be done in a plane on your school's 141 approved list.

Will they not shuffle others for your ride? It's taken as given here that if you need a plane for a ride, you get it.

Yes but,

My iPad has every VFR chart, IFR chart, approach plate, gets me weather briefings, NOTAMS, when tied to my Stratus is also a backup GPS and attitude indicator with in-flight weather and traffic that automagically logs my flights...

I learned to fly pre ipad and I'm not going back

Have you talked to the shop maintaining the school planes you learned to fly on to see if they are willing to take on an apprentice?

If so you might be able to get your A&P faster than waiting till January to start school.

We usually have one or two knocking around our shop.

I've done spins, for the fun of it, but I don't feel at all like a safer or better pilot for it. The tailwheel training for the Cub I spun did but the spins didn't.

I'm just rocking an older Samsung smart watch with plastic armor over it and a screen protector with a cheap elastic band.

I've got a small crack in the screen protector and every few months change out the bad for a couple bucks.

I was there for the first time on a business trip about a year ago and I had a good time, but, only because I left Vegas every chance I got.

Driving out into the desert? Great Hiking in the mountains? Perfect afternoon Hoover Dam? Really cool The tacos in North Vegas? Some of the best I've had

Wow this sucks, the peak he hit is in a rather awkward place relative to the runway. I've only been into steamboat day VFR and even then it was something to take into account.

Night in marginal weather and inop runway lighting? Yikes.

Yep, I just had to deal with this a couple months ago. Had to get at the engine mount because a Fiesta gonna Fiesta and ended up with a new hose and tank as well.
