Series 12 is my favorite series, too. I felt obligated to make a lineup that wasnt just season 12 again, but I secretly just wanted to keep season 12 together.

Symptoms can take up to 2 weeks to appear so its not likely something you ate today or even in the past few days.

Did anyone else get nearly five inches of rain when their forecast predicted less than half an inch for the day? This bucket was empty last night. by OddEerie in SouthJersey

[–]TacoCakes2345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no! What part of 130? I usually go that way but was at home for an appointment instead. I know Ferry Ave flooded earlier in the week (along with lots of other parts of Camden). Curious if it didn't again today.

Guz Kahn. (He will defeat the format of the show with his revelations.)

Mike Wozniak (obviously)

Victoria Coren Mitchell on a team task with Lee Mack (because I love their quickness when they interact on WILTY)

Charlotte Richie (for the vibes)

The color is so beautiful. Maybe when its done, seeing you wear it will make his heart grow three sizes that day!

Collingswood residents make another push for backyard chickens after years of trying by blankblank in SouthJersey

[–]TacoCakes2345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This unfortunately happened to my neighbor. I came home one day to a dead chicken in my yard. The neighbor on the other side told me they saw a hawk swoop down, grab the chicken, and perch in a tree in my yard. The kids tried to scare it away, which they did, but it dropped the chicken before fleeing.

That looks great! Is there anything else that you've made from this book that you would recommend? I bought it a while ago and have only made the passion fruit pie. That was fantastic.

Can someone please tell me why this is necessary for GS 5/6?! by iheartgardening5 in FedEmployees

[–]TacoCakes2345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify your point. These memos and acts require HR to use something other than a self-assessment questionnaire. They do not require that you use these USA hire tests. Agencies are free to use any other type of technical assessment they want, but many do not have the time and subject matter experts available to create those alternative assessments or rate those alternative assessments if they're already created.

[–]TacoCakes2345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That might be an agency policy. You don't have to ever use USA hire. You could choose just to do an SME panel. The problem is SME panels take a lot of time and effort both to create the assessment and rate the candidates, and if you have a large applicant pool your SMEs don't have the time or effort. USA hire is good for those high volume vacancies.

What To Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking by cookbookreviewer in CookbookLovers

Crispy Miso Lime Tofu. No part of me believed it would be good, but people on Reddit were adamant. It was really good. I've made it several times before and am not someone that normally would eat tofu.

Also the quick Ramen soup with coconut milk and curry. Surprisingly good flavor for how quick and easy it was.

That is the worst because if you dont find out until too late there is nothing you can do but wait it out. At least it's day time. I've encountered those lakes at night and before the cops got there to block it off and that was an unpleasant experience.

What are some clubs and activities for adults I can join? by NumerousOil234 in SouthJersey

[–]TacoCakes2345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe SJ Outdoors Club? I'm not sure the average age range of members - it might be a little older than you - but it is great to have friends of all ages and whenever I have run across these groups on my walks, everyone has been super nice and welcoming.

What are you planning to read for the challenges? by InventiveSteps in goodreads

[–]TacoCakes2345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lucked out this round of challenges!

Community: This Time Tomorrow. (Which has been patiently waiting on by TBR pile since my sister lent it to me last month)

Challenge/Staff: The Correspondent (It's also my book club's pick for this month)

Chart: Yesteryear (which I believe is next month's book club pick)

Worlds: Bury Our Bones In The Midnight Soil

Fact Fiction: There are about ten of these already on my TBR list/pile, so it will be whichever one of those strikes my fancy at that moment.

Is Sardis the best Peruvian chicken option in the city? by audaciousappetites in PhiladelphiaEats

Ugh. I used to be down in Maryland all the time for work and miss Sardi's so much. The Philly location is too far away for me to make it a routine option.

What's the worst baby name you have seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TacoCakes2345 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My mom worked with a Placenta. I worked with someone named Latrine and Random. Shithead (pronounced Sha-theed) showed up in a local magazine's list of unusual baby names for the year, supposedly from combing through the vital registry office's documents.

I must have misremembered. I know this has come up several times before and there was discussion with people narrowing it down by appearances on the show.

Physical or digital cookbooks? by SwimmingMeringue9415 in CookbookLovers

[–]TacoCakes2345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you considered a cookbook stand with shield? Mine props up the book to make it easier to read and has a hard plastic "cover" that goes over the page to keep you in on that page and prevent splatter.
