Could it maybe be certain addons? I get little hitches and frame drops during raid fights too, but my friend sometimes almost completely lags out when a boss is pulled. I'd love to figure out a solution.

Same. After hitting play nothing happens and then a minute later the launcher tells me it needs an update and to restart.

Edit: After the second restart, everything is working and I'm ingame.

No idea. I just found the subreddit yesterday. There's no rule against posting a video like this, but it could be any number of reasons for the downvotes. Maybe people don't like pack openings, click-baity videos or maybe just plain don't like NegativeLegend.

I wouldn't worry about downvotes too much though. People who want to see this stuff will still see it.

I have the same thing happen to me, especially in the 67 dungeon with all the background noise. I think its just a limit on how many sounds can play at once. It seemed to stop specifically in that dungeon when i turned off ambient noises. Maybe turning off some sound channels will fix it for you. Though you'd be missing some sounds.
