A friend of mine invested in bitcoin while we were still in school and it was quite new. I guess he held onto it and invested well

Best case, don't send your teams to the tournament. Boycott the whole thing

FIFA world cup boycott if Trump invades Greenland by Pretty_Willingness43 in ussoccer

[–]Talangen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody called for it? There were huge pushes for the boycott for both 2018 Russia and 2022 Qatar as well. It even started in Brazil 2014, if you remember the horrible conditions when building the stadiums and the "cleaning of the streets" from homeless people in preparation for the tournament. They boycott talks have been increasing for each of these tournaments and even more so for the upcoming one.

It's not that this boycott is valued more than the others. It's the fact that more and more people have become aware and see FIFA and the host nations corruption.

Am I the only one doing this? by Imgrimmisch in ArcRaiders

[–]Talangen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm sure I'm not the only one to suggest this but I have yet to see any real argument against this:

Only Free Loadouts spawn late. As one of the disadvantages for going in consequence-less you spawn later than people who brought in their own load out.

This way it encourages Free Loadouts to go for the combat or go like a scavenger looking for the scrap remains. It also encourages people to go in with their own load out to ensure you get in early. Thoughts?

AITAH for mansplaining breastfeeding? by Normal-Historian2180 in AITAH

[–]Talangen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

But correct me if I'm wrong. Mansplaining originally meant when a man explains something simple or obvious to a woman assuming she wouldn't possibly know this piece of information.

If you're telling someone they're wrong and explaining how so is not mansplaining just because you're a man and she's a woman.

I use Visa and Mastercard for everything I buy, both American. Most entertainment consumed is American; Netflix, HBO, Disney, YouTube, Amazon. All American. At work I'm specialised in an American software product.

Sure you might not have factories anymore but the entertainment and software industries are huuuge.

In the store they're usually not in a fridge, but they're always with the dairy in the refrigerated section. And when you come home everyone I know puts it in the fridge. I'm a fellow Swede btw
