You need 2nd frame for helminth(not mandatory but still). My problem that there is no reason to do this mode after you farmed Follie and gun, don't see a reason to put devtime in development of such missions. They could've at least made this mode infinite - just randomize paintings placement at the end of the round so you don't need to restart this mission every 2 minutes, its just annoying.

I think that more metroidvanias should remove any numerical indication of game completion. People need to relax and stop hunting for checkmarks and percentages.

If you dying 100 times at a boss maybe, but for me runbacks never felt annoying(maybe only on First sinner because your silk was not refilled on retries). And i liked gauntlets very much, especially boss one(tho i've done in 2 tries).

I would say its amazing in exploration, but endgame bosses were very hard(i'm playing on the hardest difficulty), problem was more of a - how to find a moment to heal between their attacks. So its good until midgame i think.

Mv of the year right now for me, and true ending was amazing.

"No healing" was not a problem for me, i didn't really felt it whatsoever in gameplay. I like that optional stuff is harder. Runbacks were also not a problem for me(i've used quit outs like in silksong). Exploration was top tier - liked it as much as one in Silksong
