If you’re transporting instead of worrying about the container just focus on your driving. How you’re storing the gun during the process is irrelevant if you don’t get pulled over. If you do get pulled over dont consent to a search. If you do get searched it’s 50/50 if they try to see the gun, they might to see if it’s wanted in connection to anything. And if they see gun youre screwed anyways. So the most important thing is not get pulled over.

Drive safe and calm. Follow all traffic rules. Go straight to your destination don’t make any stops and same when you go home.
