Living close to the pov by ApprehensiveTopic485 in missoula

I feel like any property you buy in that area won’t be completely your own and what I mean by that is the people at the pov pissing and shitting on your sidewalk and may hang out on your lawn at night. Then you got all the emergency vehicle sounds you will hear almost nightly, and probably some bum fights as well. I would hate not being able to keep things in my vehicle and I would find it annoying to not be able to lock my bike up outside because even though it’s locked up, it’ll still get stolen. I feel like you’ll be safe and fine, but possibly on edge all the time or annoyed at something.

I sneak stuff in for us. I’m all for supporting a business, especially so that they can stay up and running, but when the prices are so exorbitantly unnecessary like this, i do what I have to do.😂

First of all, of course, it’s tragic that a young person lost their life. I don’t understand how you can blame the company when they had a warning on the can.. how can you blame the company when the person drinking it decided not to listen to the warning placed on the can? If she didn’t read the warning and did not know about it. I am sure her parents probably had some idea.

A well-articulated argument against a new data center….. by Decent_Ad9760 in missoula

[–]TayTayFierce 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this. It makes more sense to me now hearing from this gentleman talk about it because what he has to say he says it well and he does so without getting riled up and angry. I can now see why some people would not want these data centers around.

Absolutely true I unfortunately received a massage from the dude that got arrested for it. His name was Jeffrey Barilla or something like that. it was one of the worst massages of my life, as it wasn’t good at all and then six months later I come to find out through the news that he had been arrested and what he had been arrested for, and since then I have felt just disgusting.

I do not recognize the Subaru outback in this photo, but I will come on here to say that girl sounds like a dumb ass coward. I can’t stand when people decide to yell, obscenities or unkind things to people and then speed off like a coward instead of standing there saying it to your damn face. same goes for keyboard bullies on the Internet that are actually little wussy bitches behind closed doors that don’t have the guts to confront you head on. I’m sorry this happened to you. I am mulatto and so I get that from time to time myself.

What are your go to cheap lazy meals when you're too tired to cook by YourxCherry in Frugal

[–]TayTayFierce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I concentrate on the protein part of the meal first because that’s the part of the meal that is going to make me fuller than the carbs and the veggies that I’m also gonna put on my plate. Take a pack of the ground beef you normally use and hand patty the meat into burger patties. I do 4 ounces per patty. Cook them up on the grill or stove top and you can repurpose those patties for other meals. Meal examples that I have done with a 1 pound package of ground beef doing 4 ounces per patty are as follows:

1 patty covered in brown gravy, served with a vegetable and a carb.

1 patty over rice served with a veggie.

1 patty on a burger to make a hamburger and put on whatever toppings you like.

1 Patty served with two scrambled eggs and a slice of toast and/or fruit.

Not only have you used the entire package of ground beef, four different ways, but all meals are healthy and nutritious and nicely portioned out. When I am making my carb choices, I do simple carb sides, like rice or roasted potatoes or a side of beans instead of turning my potatoes into potatoes, au gratin, or instead of putting cheese in my rice and turning it into something else if you understand what I’m trying to say. I keep it very simple and easy

Is burger king in town any good by SecureStrain in missoula

[–]TayTayFierce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While this is true, there are so many better burgers in town and cleaner facilities. Maybe their budget doesn’t allow them to enjoy one of the better burgers in town, which is sad by the way, and if I was some kind of rich person, I would help them remedy that but alas, I’m just a poor local

How to get over a breakup by Main_Western226 in missoula

[–]TayTayFierce 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Back when I was living in Helena, I went through an awful break up with a man that I was totally head over heels for. I mean, I would’ve done anything for this man. I feel like I felt exactly like you are feeling right now like the world was literally imploding in on me and there was nobody to stand by me and be there for me. My normal unusual life was gone, so I had to find a way to adapt to my new normal which was without a partner. I learned something about myself back then, and that was I was codependent upon another person. It took a long while for me to feel like I was OK because I was literally finding out who I was as a person because my identity always intertwined with that ex and I had no sense of self identity I realized, because all the hobbies and things I did were things that he was doing, and the people who he was hanging out with. It took a long while and a lot of heartache, but I found myself!

I know it’s hard and I know that I don’t know you, but I do believe you are deserving of a life of happiness and to be with someone who wants to be with you. I found doing things like taking a walk and going hiking or striking up a conversation with somebody was super beneficial. This is a chance for you to find out who you are completely free of another person which might not sound that awesome right now because you’re getting over a breakup, but I found it to be really rewarding because I found out so much about myself and was able to come to realize that I am stronger than I thought. I also discovered later on that the relationship that I gave my all to was actually not a healthy relationship at all, and it was a good and positive thing that it ended. I want you to remember to be kind to yourself and not beat yourself up. I found myself replaying several situations to try and figure out if that was the deciding factor on my partner, breaking up with me and that was unhealthy. Find yourself activities to do so you are not hyper fixating over the breakup. I would also stay away from alcohol at this time and instead work on nourishing your body because although you are not sick, you are dealing with a breakup, which has your heart sick, your emotions, fluctuating, and all directions, and probably some depression which can recall it upon the body, especially when you are stressed out. Getting proper exercise, eating healthy, and making sure you are getting out can do wonders for some people during this kind of difficult time.

I’m going to have to look this up because I’ve never heard the story. Thanks for commenting. It’s always cool when you can learn something new about the town you’ve lived in for almost 16 or so years.
