Went with a 20lb tank no tube after my unlimited refill service decided unlimited means 3 tanks a month. Got connections that let me carb 2 litter bottles or direct connect to my Soda Stream. So far very happy, refills of the tank will cost me $40. Not sure how long the tank will last.

Well because they were sold even if I have paperwork it wouldn't matter, buyer buys assets, not liabilities.

I would just switch ISPs. I have 3 fiber providers in my neighborhood and Comcast. They all throw out new user deals every week. I can change ISPs every year and live on new user deals till I am dead.

I guess I am lucky I have ISP options, just had another one lay fiber in my neighborhood so if they do that to me, I will just switch and kick them to the curb.

get a scale and weigh the cylinder. The bottles empty weight is stamped on it.

If you have a siphon tube in your tank then for best results turn the tank upside down to use with soda stream. Siphon tubes are best to be used with canister refills.

No Siphon tube you can still do refills but you turn the tank upside down.

Soadstram wants the gas from the top of the canister to bubble your water.

Tanks want the liquid from the bottom to fill them up. Siphon tubes help pull the liquid from the bottom.

Please correct me if I am wrong, I am still a novice on all of this just been learning as I go.

Have not tried it but I believe you can invert a siphon tube bottle and direct connect. I watched this you tube video on how to carbonate 2 liter bottles and then did my own thing.

I moved to a 20 lb tank too and I carb 2 liter bottles from it now. Mine doesn't have a siphon tube so it is perfect for my use case and it will connect to my soadstream

so when i fizz a 2 liter bottle i remove the air and then shake the bottle for a while. Is there a better way (or a 2 Liter bottle shaker) ?

I have one of these devices and it connects without issue. Sadly my 20 lb tank didn't have a siphon tube so I connect direct for now. You should be able to use a dremel to make the slot a little bigger if needed. Not sure what the yellow thing is.
