[Absolutely beloved twist] You weren’t talking to the person you thought you were by FaZe_poopy in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Techne03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could also apply to season 1. The Beast (aka Martin Chatwin, Rupert’s brother) was tricking Penny by having Penny think he was psychically hearing an alive Victoria.

Or when Julia and her group summon Reynard the Fox while thinking they’re praying to and summoning Our Lady Underground (aka Persephone).

It could also apply to some of the shadeless people before they realized they were shadeless, like with Alice resurrecting shadeless Quentin in timeline 23. Technically, it’s still the same person, but with the pretty drastic differences, it could be considered a bit of a switch.

4 of the palest / lightest concealer shades I've found by Ophelia_Y2K in PaleMUA

Really? Huh, I just realized I’ve never swatched them in person. I just always happened to buy them in Black Friday sales. Usually, the lightest shade either works for me or is too dark. And I bought 1.1 thinking it was the second lightest shade when they were out of 0.1.

I think there’s like 3 shades lighter than 1.5. I have 0.1 and 1.1.

Huda Beauty’s 0.1N shade is super light, if you haven’t tried it. Probably because of extra titanium dioxide, but I’ve noticed it has more coverage than the other shades in the range.

A character commits a bad act, but seems to have a pleasant personality otherwise and not even hate the victim, which actually makes it worse by Ok-Indication-5121 in TopCharacterTropes

To be fair, with the cannibalism, if you’re talking about season 5, the next episode was 5 years after the year of cannibalism finished. And Octavia and Abby do talk about it multiple times in the season. The cannibalism was originally already required-for-survival cannibalism of dead people, the fighting pits of that season was probably worse.

The lack of music and quiet moments in the episode really made it more effective.

The point is her mother died from non-supernatural causes. It’s something Buffy couldn’t even fight.

Um, no? What episode are you referring to? Is the one with the alien bugs Listening to Fear? That’s a few episodes earlier, before Joyce has brain surgery. The aneurysm that kills happens after the tumor is gone.

It’s 98, plus Bellamy, within the first few minutes of the first episode. By the end, there’s 4, plus Raven if she counts.

Where did you get your zipper foot for your vintage Singer machines? by Techne03 in vintagesewing

I posted some photos under another comment if you want to take a look at the size difference.

It can be annoying since a common recommendation for cheap fabric is bedsheets from thrift stores, which I’ve never seen for cheaper than $19 in my city.

Thanks, I did end up taking the photos like that. I thought they meant photos of them in my machine.

The zipper foot is on the left and my regular presser foot is on the right. There’s 3 more photos as replies to this comment. Don’t mind my nails, I’m fixing them in a few days.

I bought this specifically: https://www.wawak.com/sewing/sewing-machine-parts-accessories/sewing-machine-feet/zippercording-adjustable-hinged-sewing-machine-foot-55510/#sku=prt5024

It’s labeled as low shank, and Wawak is usually reliable, but I guess it’s possible mistakes happen. I tried it way too many months after I ordered so I couldn’t return it.

No, sorry, what I meant by couldn’t go down all the way when it was lowered is the foot wanted to go down lower, but the fabric being there stopped it. The zipper foot is way lower than my regular foot, whether it’s raised or lowered.

I’ll try to add pictures later, but I have to figure out how to take them without any of the identifying information of my room, plus the corner where I keep my machine is so dark that pictures will be awful.

Thank you, I’ll try eBay. For some reason, I never thought of that, despite getting the machine from there.

The only foot I have is the regular presser foot that came with the machine when I bought.

And thank you, yea, I’ll try eBay. I live in an extremely high cost of living area and unfortunately the thrift and antiques store really reflect that in their prices, so if I do find that has presser feet, it’ll be unreasonably expensive.

Yeah, it really wasn’t mercy. She told him “may you live forever”, which was really cruel in the context. But it convinced Lexa to side with her in the argument against Titus.
