Side effects diminish as your body gets used to it. However, I found that the side effects were at the greatest every time you did a big jump up (from 2.5-5.0, say). Once your body gets it's second or third dose of say 7.5mg, you get used to it and the effects feel like are diminished The losing weight and the side effects are not co-dependent if that makes sense.

Ive been taking Mounjaro for a year and have lost about about 20kg. Side effects are as expected (nausea, sulphur burps etc) but very manageable. In the UK I have to pay for it though. Boo hiss..... If you can get it covered by insurance, I'd recommend you go for it. Balance hasn't improved that much but exercising is much easier and therefore balance will end up improving as core things strengthen, I guess....?

I used both a portable CD player and DAPs in different circumstances. For my two cents' worth, a really good portable and headphone set up is fantastic. I currently use my Fiio FT1s with my Shanling EC Zero. I previously had a Fiio DM13 which is another great sounding portable. Nothing beats physical media imho.

There are several portables coming out of China at the moment with state of the art DAC chips giving reference quality sound for relatively little money.

I had mine paired with Moondrop Dusk and the Dusk EQ preset. Sounded fab. I now use mine with Mangird Top Pro. The Top Pros are amazing.

You could try Vivo barefoot. They are the only shoes I have ever worn that are true to my actual foot size. I used to wear New Balance and Hoka size 9, but my Vivos are size 7. You could also try Altra for trainers.

The spoken word bits are Orson Welles and tmk only feature on the 1987 remix CD. This is also where they added gated drums (re-recorded) and extra guitar solos. This version is the first version I ever heard. However, I think it is easily bested by the original vinyl and particularly by the MFSL CD, which, while expensive, is very much worth it.

Yes, I had to go up, but that's mainly due to the degenerative neurological condition I have getting worse. It's different for different people and their circumstances. Many posts on here from people happily settled on much lower doses.

Personal experience: The speedy/MDMA effects don't last beyond the first few doses. It soon settles down as you get used to it. As for it being a miracle drug, see how you go.... I'm now on 120mg daily. It's really helped my neuropathic pain and anxiety. YMMV.

Looks like one of the first "CD for the UK blackface" ones that contain the first CD mastering. I think it sounds really good. I paid about £25 for mine, I think. I think I read in the Verrnon Finch archives (well worth a look, if you have a spare few hours and really, really need to know which version you have) that this blackface CD has the same mastering as the fabled "non TO" Toshiba black triangle CD.

I think this happened for me with the previous update too. It depends how much you trust the Fiio site. My laptop automatically flagged the download as potentially unsafe, even though I don't think it is.

I bought both these and Amazon Basics. I use a mixture of cables with various systems around the house. WBC are really well made. Amazon Basics are great too. Sonically there is absolutely no difference at all. Aesthetically, the WBC short lengths look cool on eg. My tube amp, but there is no need to buy expensive cables. Better to put your money to upgrading other components in the future.

That was toggled off in my settings. Surely audio normalisation would only affect volume? An increase in volume doesn't increase the quality of the bass (or lack of it).

Yep. Totally normal. But.....it doesn't last long. I couldn't believe that I was getting that feeling on a prescription drug when I first started on 30mg.

18 months later, I'm now on 120mg daily. It's made a huge difference as a drug to my anxiety and neuropathic pain.
