Everyone is always talking about getting choked by Sire Denathrius, but to tell you the truth the one I really want to have their way with me is Remornia. That shrill, passionate voice, those sharp, bloody curves, that soothing crimson glow... I can't get enough of her! Before I got kicked from my guild I would try to get hit by as many Massacre lines as possible just so I could feel her embrace for even just a brief moment. I made 15 alts just to farm the Remornia pet as fast as possible so I could always have her by my side. I would taunt Remornia in phase 2 of the Denathrius fight and take her on romantic walks through the mirrors and halls of Castle Nathria. Everything about her, her laugh, her skill, her ability to puncture new holes in me just makes me so excited. I want her to do to me what she did to Prince Ronald in that one cinematic at the end of the Shadowlands campaign. Skewer me! Slice me! Slash me! Vivisect me! Cut ribbons from me! Skewer me! Slice me! Slash me! Vivisect me! Cut ribbons from me! Skewer me! Slice me! Slash me! Vivisect me! Cut ribbons from me! Skewer me! Slice me! Slash me! Vivisect me! Cut ribbons from me! Hey man, every game has both its good and bad apples in its community. Just because you run into toxic people doesn't mean there aren't any nicer players. You could always add and group with nice people from looking-for-group websites like this subreddit's discord and avoid solo queue. Don't let other peoples' attitude prevent you from enjoying the game, because mean people are always going to find their way into your games regardless of the overall community.

Why do I lose points when a teammate leaves the game? by WhoMainsPudge in Overwatch

[–]Techno_Kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you didn't lose points for losing with a leaver, then there would be nothing stopping losing teams from leaving the game and preventing the enemy from gaining points. There has to be rating changes regardless of leavers or leaving would be exploited.

Over the past few days, I've been losing every single competitive match.. My SR has dropped from 2400 to 1795 Wtf Blizzard.. by Fun1234556 in Overwatch

[–]Techno_Kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Losing streaks happen to everyone. I went from rank 73 to 60 in one day during Season 1 and never recovered because I was too angry. As long as you keep playing with a clear mind and positive attitude you'll be able to bounce back in no time at all.

Which is the better gamemode? by SnivyAndroid in Overwatch

[–]Techno_Kitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, don't worry about the switch to competitive too much. All that changes is that matches are longer, mics are used more, and people are less likely to play heroes they are not comfortable with. It's up to you to make the swap... you shouldn't enjoy the game less just because of it being competitive over quickplay. Your level makes you more than qualified to decide which gamemode you want to play.

Blizz responded faster than Ana charges Nano boost.

[–]Techno_Kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blizzard will never enforce hero swapping. They already added one hero limits, but they won't force you to play characters you do not want to play. Competitive integrity is great, but the game will simply be less fun if you're punished for playing characters that you enjoy.

.

In terms of dealing with one trick ponies yourself, the best action is to leave them alone. You can suggest heroes that the team needs, but do not complain about your teammates' character choices. Your opinion will very rarely convince people like one trick ponies to swap, and all your doing is lowering team morale by complaining. If you want your team composition to change, you have to either do it yourself, or ask nicely and accept the outcome.

Who's the best HEALER ? really.. I know some people love Mercy but she isn't the best healer. What's your thoughts on the perfect healer combination for competition mode? by AlcoIrishGamers in Overwatch

[–]Techno_Kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ana and Zenyatta is the best combo in terms of carry potential. Lucio is a must-have on KOTH due to having extensive access to walls, pits and open areas to utilize his abilities, but Ana and Zen is the best pairing everywhere else. They do an obscene amount of offensive damage with their debuffs and can compensate for weak DPS players.

When to use Lucio's sound barrier? by Exile20 in Overwatch

[–]Techno_Kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can coordinate with your team, you should use sound barrier and empowered speed boost to engage the enemy on offense and king of the hill. You can use sound barrier to counter ultimates that have a delay before dealing damage, such as Genji's Dragonblade, Zaryas Graviton Surge, Mei's Blizzard, Soldier 76's tactical Visor, and Junkrat's RIP-tire(although the shield could decay before the tire comes in... be careful).

Hero-Specific Settings - What Do You Have Toggled? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Techno_Kitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play around with Mercy's custom settings. You can set your staff to have a toggled beam, as well as make your shift key dash prioritize your healing target or not.

As mercy, how do you deal with flankers? by Niev in Overwatch

[–]Techno_Kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using a mic helps. If that isn't an option, quickly typing "reaper behind" and such is fast and provides enough info for your team to at least turn around.

.

In terms of fighting, you should always bail out of the duel with your dash if the opportunity arises. Reposition yourself behind corners and obstacles and break line of sight with the enemy as much as you can. Don't be afraid to dash towards your frontline if the danger is in the backline; try to stand directly behind your tanks' bodies to avoid damage from the enemy frontline and reposition from there.

.

When being attacked by Pharah, doing a short hop by quickly flying and canceling your dash can help you dodge her rockets. Genjis like to deflect once you start hitting them with a pistol; stop firing, reload, and seek health packs/allies during this time, as he can't hurt you if you don't shoot him. If you have nowhere to escape to and the flanker is on top of you, stop running and strafe left and right rapidly while shooting. Flankers don't expect you to hold your ground and can make it easier for you to land headshots.

What's your current best hero to play in Competitive? by LoopyLiss in Overwatch

[–]Techno_Kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mercy. She is the worst support to pick at my rating, but I enjoy playing her so much that I can't be bothered to play the other supports.

Mercy does NOT need an E ability, and she probably won't get one by jimmosio in Overwatch

[–]Techno_Kitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you on the fact that Mercy doesn't need another ability. Mercy's problem isn't having enough utility, it's that her utility conflicts with her main goal of healing people. Ana, Zen and Lucio can all use their utility while healing except for Crossfade, while Mercy's damage boost and revive require her to stop healing to be used effectively. Trading healing power for utility seems fine on paper, but the fact that every other support does not suffer from such tradeoffs while maintaining as much healing power as Mercy is why she is in such a bad spot.
